If I get my P3 updated ... will I lose my puff count?

The puff counter is the only thing I ever go into the menu for ... 11,914 puffs :smokie:

No. Besides, you can manually raise the puff counter so write it down ahead of time just in case. I didn't ask Jackie, but on both my P3's, the puff count stayed. When I got my new P3 on 21Jan, I manually added the count from the one I had since 16Jun
42,271 since 16Jun :vapor:

EDIT: I just thought of something: That would be a cool feature, "Ongoing Puffs" and, "Puffs On This device."

Yep, the Provape-1. It was a great little mod.

I gotta get me one of those.

EDIT: To stay on topic, that device is regulated/unregulated at 3.7 volts. Does that mean it's unregulated or regulated at 3.7 volts? I don't know. It has a lifetime warranty.

Question....

I just picked up my first 2.5. Using a Subtank Mini and Nautilus Mini. How do I get rid of that 1/2mm gap between the tank and 2.5?

This gap is releasing my generally complacent OCD. ;)
That's what is commonly referred to as the "Paper Gap" and unless someone else knows how to make it go away, you have to live with it.

Sorry @coldgin96, but I gotta drop some knowledge.
The "Paper Gap" issue is only with the P3 devices and some uncooperative P3 threaded tanks.
The gap on the v2.5 is caused by the center pin being a "fixed" pin...so if an atomizer's center pin sticks out at all, it will cause a gap.
On the KFL, this issue was resolved by lightly filing/grinding down the bottom insulator for the center pin.
I don't know of any resolutions for any other tanks.

Get yourself a circle cutter, and a hole punch ( the kind for making the holes for three ring binders). I use scrap tagboard, plastic coated paper, thin plastic, and back sheets from notepads to make a variety of these spacer rings for my 2.5's, and for my P3 devices with 510 atomizers.

Any atomizer with a long centerpin, and especially ones that utilize a silicon insulator, like the Protank 2 coils, gets a spacer to take up the excess gap, and also allows me to snug the atomizer down without deforming the insulator. You want to see where the atomizer winds up making contact, and selecting the proper spacer to allow contact, and a little snug, like 1/4 to 1/3 turn.

These spacers are also quite good for getting the airhole where you want it if using a Genesis type atomizer.

Well, you're right. There are some regs but yes, I meant the voltage.

Yes.

Best to think of it as a straight Ego done right imo.

While I sometimes think of picking one up it really has nothing to offer over a 2.5 Mini imo.

The ProVape PV-1 is a great lil device...

Unregulated (as I understood it). Needs to be married to the right resistance atty for best results.

The newer 14500 batteries make it a viable candidate for an all day carry.

The ProVari has an advantage with it's Variable Voltage though.

A nice toy, but it just wasn't enough for me to keep it out of the classies.

My Opinion, Jim
