LST stands for Lumen Sees Totus which translates to Light Sees All.

The Provarinati should have gone with "Nunc Intellego" which loosely translated, means "Now I get it." or "Now I understand," (From Phil Busardo's video review of the ProVari [required viewing]).which is what I originally thought "Lumen sees totus" was supposed to represent.

It's not too late to change. :)

...I am against putting anything on the edge of the end cap. We should keep the circle dimples. They are an integral part of the look of a Provari.

[dryly] In that case, you will be shocked to learn that all the custom end caps that have been made before don't have the dimples. Not to mention, many users also use the flat top cap, which also lacks the dimples.

I personally am not a fan of wasting valuable engravable real estate on dimples.

As a recent (few months) convert to vaping and provari the phrase "nunc intellego" makes so much more sense!!!! I said the same thing when I first got it in march; and, I had no clue who pbusardo was. That saying rings true to me!

First time seeing this. Can I just say How awesome is this?!?! :D

CASAA gets my vote, if it counts for anything anymore ;)
I like the extended end cap if possible, I hardly never use just the end cap. I will purchase it if is the regular end cap, just have to have it! Ya know?!?!
I predict sales of the tatroe extension tubes will see a surge in popularity.

Edit: As for me, I'll have to buy some 18490 batteries for the first time in my life.

Does tatroe make an extension for the standard that will let you use the provari endcap.
All I can find are the bases and the mini extension.

The Tatroe extension works on the Provari, and the provari mini. If that was the one you were talking about. :)

I don't know- lol
It said for the one I saw it will let the mini use an 18650 batt and the pic made it look like you use the provari endcap.
I have the standard and was about to get an extension. But with the endcap being made, I would rather get an extension that I can use the cap on. Doesn't look like privates will let me and the tatroes I've seen for the provari looked to have a different bottom.

I have the tatroe base and extension ring, on a mini you can use the tatroe ring, and the provari standard cap to extend to 18490, you can do the same thing with the provari extend it to the 18650.

You can do whatever you wish after you buy it. However acid etching tends to have less crisp edges than either engraving or laser etching.

I really like Ocey's smaller triangle version. The vent holes are a bit further from the edge and won't be getting in the threads like the other one will.

Also, shouldn't LST be clockwise? English speakers read left to right, right?

I don't read clockwise, I read left to right.

Is reading clockwise a hedgehog thing?

ocelot that is a nice one. I have had a lot of time with photoshop, so if you guys decide on a logo feel free to pass it on to me and i can make sure all the edges and pixels are smooth. These will be engraved so what the engraver sees, thats what you will see :)
Looking good so far :)
Ken

Are you going to make it the final dimensions and resolution?

Lumen Sees Totus was what Edd used way back when referring to the ProVarinati. It truly is our own motto, since it's not quite accurate in Latin.

What would you think about adding both "Lumen Sees Totus" & "Nunc Intellego" to the rim? There's more than enough room. (edit: according to my wildly optimistic guesstimate) We can fill in the remaining space with miniature gummy bears or something. Maybe even dimples.

I like the thought of engraving outside of the word Provarinati (the lettering would be raised). There's more room there, so the design won't be distorted as much, and I think it would make it easier to read.

WoW That is Pretty Sweet :2cool:
With the smaller eye can you put lumen sees totus under it?
