ProVape/Provarinati collaboration - Help pick a new design!

I also need suggestions for engraving the sides of the extended cap, if ProVape lets us have both standard and extended cap options.
I really hope they allow us extended caps, as that's all I use. This is an awesome design and a wonderful job by you, Plan. Thanks so much for your efforts!
As far as engraving the sides of the extension cap, I don't think it's necessary. Perhaps they could just leave off the dimples. Make it straight and sexy.

To summarize, there was a communication hiccup, and David has only recently seen our chosen design.
Some Provape personnel issues should probably not be aired in a public forum. Sorry. All of the relevant details that pertain to us are in my post below.

I agree. Here's an update.Well.
Something's happening now.
Basically, the engraving tip is too big to do the lettering on the "Provarinati" logo. They might be able to do it in bas relief, but that is up in the air at the moment. ProVape has some new tooling coming in that might give better results. They want to play with it for a couple of weeks.

In other news, I found a company that can make laser cut belt buckles out of steel.
I've ordered the above buckle, and another one, but I'm not sure I want a Provarinati belt buckle.

Don't know what the initial reason for ProVape even bringing up a new end cap but IMHO it is dead in the water at this point. I do see that they decorated the sides of the end cap on the P3 beta.....wasn't that one of the ideas discussed here? I'm not holding my breath waiting for the finished product to be offered. Don't think it's gonna happen.
I know if they ever do get them produced, I will be ordering 8 of them, so I am still very interested. I would like to add, if they put this design on the new P3, I would not hesitate to get one of those also.

The extra end caps for sale (skull, compass, etc.) have always had a different side design than the original, the one that comes with all mods. The P 3 is more a modified version of that design, imho. I like the dashes and the new dashes with dots.
The finish may be a bit different, but it sure looks to me like all end caps and aftermarket end caps and tubes that now exist will fit and work nicely with the P3, so we don't have to be overly concerned about that.
I'd say they are pretty busy right now as well as waiting for their new equipment to be able to produce the design as it was stated their existing in house equipment couldn't do the detail for the lettering.
It's not dead. As Train said, they're busy. David has high res copies, but it's the engraver/stylist who has to see if the file format will work with his equipment. We'll get there.
Wow, been a long time since I've been around, what, with family and work and such... But... I thought I'd poke my head in, only to find that my old ECF home (ProVari Sub-Forum) is gone? I guess it's here now?
Anyway...
I think this endcap and the idea of donations going to CASAA and WWP is a pretty awesome idea, and the end result that was submitted to ProVape looks amazing. Really hope this doesn't fall through, and these actually come to be in the future... I'll certainly be ordering one! Heck, probably 2, as from what I've seen the battery end caps from an original ProVari will work just fine on a ProVari 3, and I'm OBVIOUSLY going to be buying a ProVari 3! El Duh... LoL

It is in ProVape's hands at the moment, and though concerns have been raised concerning the smallness of the design, ProVape is going to see what works and what doesn't, and get back to us with the results.Wow, been a long time since I've been around, what, with family and work and such... I haven't heard anything recently, but I imagine they are just a tiny bit busy with other concerns at ProVape right now.

Okay, I hate to whine. No, I don't. Kidding aside, any word? Husband's starting to ask about birthday presents. New red ProVari's out of the financial running but the end cap isn't? Any word?
