DeAnna, I'm not sure if this in response to my post above it ... it is helpful to quote at least a little of the post you're responding to for clarity.
If this was in response to me, I've done a lot of vaping research over the past 5 years. I've seen scares come and mostly go, about things like silica wicks, vaping at over 15 watts then 25 watts then 50 watts, hexavalent chromium from anything that has chromium in it like nichrome Kanthal and stainless steel, diketones, food colorings, rayon wicks, and a bunch of of other things that don't come to mind right now. I learned a lot from reading about these issues and a lot of the time I made changes to how I vape because of what I learned.
I really don't need vaping to be completely safe long term though. I also eat BBQ'ed meat, drive a car, ride my bike, etc. I know all of these things have risk associated with them and I accept the risks. I've done the same with vaping and that works for me. Now all I can do is stay current with the vape scene and see what happens next. New research comes out regularly, sometimes it's good peer reviewed studies, sometimes it's garbage and sometimes it's someone like Mike doing good work in an informal way. It all adds to the pool of knowledge we have to work with and gets us more understanding of the vape process.
