I'm not knocking Provari's. They have a very long track record of reliability. The one button menu system isn't much of a hindrance. But then I don't have problem using smart phones nor did I have problems programming yesterday's vcr's to do what I wanted them to do.

However I know what I use the most today from my collection of mods - eGrip and istick. In fact I just an hour or so ago received my new 30W istick. I was happy with the original 20W version paired with right resistance topper and adjusted to taste while disregarding the indicated voltage/wattage. The 30W is different. As far as can tell, and yes it's early, all of the deficiencies in the original 20W have been addressed.

Again, I have nothing against Provari's. I'm just over the huge form factor. Now if I were setting out on a 3 week safari in the boonies and could carry only one mod, I'd be packing a Provari for dependability's sake!

See I still like the form factor. To me, the istick is almost too small. My Reo is just about perfect, and when I carry box mods, they're in my right pocket with my keys. When I carry a tube mod, they're in my left pocket, closest to the center of my body with my phone/wallet combo, and my flashlight clipped to the inside of the left pocket, closest to my hip. Snug, but comfortable fit with either the tube or box. The whole reason I use a phone/wallet case is to allow additional pocket room for the mod.

The Provari is a reliable, quality device. There is no argument against that. Period. If a person does not like what it has to offer power wise, then they are welcome to that opinion. It doesn't mean that the mod is at fault. Provape specifically targets a market that seeks quality and reliability so that the customer doesn't have to replace it because it broke.

Now for other mods, 50 watts, 100 watts, 150 watts, those are great... If your using a dripper. See the thing is, is that not everyone drips. I know, i know, there's a couple tanks out there that can handle high watts, but they're really not very cheap for the most part. So we return to the assumption that MOST high watt vapors are dripping. But what proportion of the entire vaping population is dripping? Honestly, I have no idea, but I'll tell you for certain that people who drip are most certainly not the majority. So yes, your welcome to your opinions that Provape is outdated and falling behind the times at a higher price than other devices out there.

But I would bet money that 5 or 10 years down the road, both my Provari 3 and my Reo will have outlasted the IPV3's, SX350's etc, as far as which ones are still fully functioning.

That's my non-attacking contribution to what started as a simple thread.

I personally have no issue with the P3's power limit. I've never pushed anything past 17W. I'm not into cloud chasing and impressing anyone with my cloud blowing prowess. An excellent vape can be had with less than 20W using the right topper.

Form factor is user preference. Choice is good. One can suit their preference. Things are so much better today than when I started vaping!

See I enjoy making clouds, and 20 watts is certainly capable of doing so. When I had my taifun gt2 working right, it could blow clouds that honestly weren't too far off from my reo+trident v2 at 0.41 ohms

There will never be an end to these kind of arguments when value for dollar is a personal opinion. Other things such as size/power/design elements are purely subjective as well. As long as you are happy with your mod, I am happy for you. I am here happy with my mod and you should be happy for me. We are all in the same boat guys dont forget!

I have watched the great quality of Provari in many 2013 youtube videos, but, with 20w max output and the unknown battery specs on their website for the price of $270, and with the greater advancements in other vaping products last year, I will gladly pass this product.
The P3 also has a 6 Volt limit as well. It seems that Provape has been riding the wave that the original Provari had initially started and they've shown little innovation since. The Temp. Control is a nice feature, but it's a nice feature added to an under-powered device.

I heard that the Atlantis performs better above 20 watts as far as vapor and not leaking etc. Sounds like the subtank performs well at all wattage ranges
As of right now, yes the Atlantis will only perform better above 20 watts because there are only (.5 ohm) coils available. Once Aspire release's the (1 ohm) coils it will perform better at all wattages.

I don't know when the 1 ohm coils are being released but everyone keeps saying they're coming soon.

Try a P3 with a Kayfun lite plus with a 1.3 resistance coil at 12 watts with cotton wick and boost mode at 2 and tell me your not satisfied....most satisfying vape out there.....and the cost of the P3 is not an issue if it last 10 plus years or more...:D
I had no luck with the kayfun lite plus. Or the squape reloaded, erlkonigin or taifun gt2. I suck at rta's. I borrowed a friend's kayfun 4 and liked that alot, but I have a flash e vapor v3 on the way that I'd like to try before I buy a kayfun 4
