Provari button light

My one month old v 2.5, the button light just stays lit all the time, its dimly lit but definitely on. I tried changing batts, even with no atty on it, just stays on.

Tried changing button light on-off settings, powering off, still on.

Everything else functions normally.

Wondering if anyone else had this happen before, and how they fixed it. Im sure provape can remedy it, if its not user fixable.

I've found that throwing it against the wall seems to help! (Disclaimer: DON'T do that!)

I don't think you'll be able to fix it yourself without voiding any warranty it might have. It sounds like there's an issue with the connection between the LED and the IC.

Only thing to do is contact provape, they will tell you what to do.

Ive already sent a support ticket to provape, figured I'd have to send it in, just a last ditch effort for advice.

Hate to go without it, been using it exclusively since I got it. Oh well guess ill have to dust off the other mods.

Wierd now the light went out and working normal after it stayed on 7hrs

Sounds like liquid inside your tube if I had to make an educated guess.

Provape should get back to you fairly quickly and Id recommend sending it in to at least get the electronics cleaned and inspected.

I've read a post in there support page that suggest an alcohol bath if you suspect dirt or grunge in the electronics. 99% alcohol if possible, 92% acceptable, then let dry a full 24 hours. Straight into the tube where they're exposed.

yea i would send it in even tho its no longer lit just to make sure there is nothing wrong with it while its still covered under warranty, better safe then sorry.

Thanks, dont think its juice or something getting it dirty, its really clean. Its something with the electronics, whenever I put a battery in, it lights up for several hours than goes off. Everything works but its annoying, especially at night. Reminds me of my buzz pro which always had a red lit light.

Ill send it off as soon as I hear back from provape.
