Hi guys,

I have a both a provari 2.5 and a barely used Provari Classic (used it about 3 or 4 times before).

Today, building an Ithaka on it, it kept giving me an Open Post (Ohm?) message.

Tested the same build on the 2.5 and a couple other devices and it's all fine.

Tested a couple other RDAs and tanks, all gave OP.

Uncrewed the outer and inner ring of the P2 connections, put those in an ultrasonic cleaner, cleaned the inner thread of the provari (the ones making the connection to the inner ring) and then reassembled, making sure everything was REAL TIGHT.

put ithaka back, worked for a bit, then suddendly once again stopped working.

Is this common on the P2 Thread? any advice on how to solve it?

Any help is appreciated.

You might try removing both rings, and using your fingernail, pushing the grommet under the center pin a bit. It may help to raise the center pin a little bit. You did say that you tried several different atties and all gave a OP. Either your center pin is too low to contact the center pin of the atomizers, if that's not the problem, I would guess that you may have a loose connection to one of the leads of the P3 connector.

Is it possible for you to feel if the atomizer center pin is meeting the center pin of the P3 connection?

hey guys, it definitely not the atty. with a ball pen i pushed the adjustable positive pin of the provari up and down several times and retried, worked again. So i think (need to clean still) that it's a bit of liquid that got there (i mostly vape VG) and after a while prevents the pin from going all the way up again

will update after cleanup
