If you notice, it is usually individuals that buy/appreciate these devices call them Provari killers. Most of the distributors do not market them as such in my opinion. Also, I agree with the quality of the Provari; it is my favorite best built device, and I do love it! That being said, less expensive devices will always have there place in the market place! Overtime, brands like Hyundia, Kia become better! I see the same thing happening with may ecig manufactures in China. Some of them are even ISO certified which is an indicator of a quality manufacture!
QUOTE=jkmtwo;7063940]The reason for the negativity is that the devices that look like the Vario are billed all too often as the Provari killer, I'm looking at you Vmax, I don't think there has been much negativity aimed at the Gripper, mainly because it wasn't pushed as the best thing ever.
This may be a fine device, but I have more than grown tired of people comparing this device or that device to the provari, I'm not a fan boy, I'm really more of an Evolv fan boy than any thing, but I think it should be clear, China is not bringing anything to market close to the Provari, and that's OK. There is a well established market for devices like this, and that's fine, there's nothing wrong with that.
I also want to clear something up, some times I can speak and not think about what I'm saying, earlier in the thread I said this device was seriously flawed, after thinking about that, I was wrong, its not flawed, that is harsh, an advertized 2.2 amp limit isn't a flaw, that's what it does, flawed would have been advertizing a 2.5 amp limit when it only does 2.2, that's not for everyone, but its not a flaw.
I do think its wrong to bill it as good for dual coils, a 2.2 amp limit is gonna get you about 3.5 or 6 with a 1.5 ohm dcc. Now, if you are like others have stated, into 3 ohm single coils, you should get a great cape. In my humble opinion dual coils suck anyways.
I just wanted to clear that up, and apologize to Vapor Beast, I'm sorry if I made it sound as though they are selling an inferior product, and I should have used my words better.[/QUOTE]
