Provari mini or regular size?

Hello Folks,
After just shy of 35 years working the same job,I retired.I have been vaping and completely off Analogs since December 1st,2013.I have decided to buy myself a Provari as a retirement present to myself.I have researched the Provari and the Mini.My question is what is the feeling- is the mini the one to have, or is it just size preference?I'm leaning toward the Mini.I have two other devices-an Itaste VV 3.0 and also a VTR.I have been staring at the Provari website for two weeks now and reading this forum to try and get a handle on this.It looks like personal preference.I'm ready to press the button for a mini unless someone can convince me I'm making a mistake. Thanks in advance.

I went for the mini after MUCH deliberation. It really is incredibly small with an RDA, I can hide it in my hand without a topper. I have big hands and it fits me just fine. As steamer says, you can always get an extension to take bigger batteries if you need to, but I find a single 18350 will last me all day normally.

Mine is in my hand now with an Atomic RDA by MCV. For me personally it's vaping heaven!

I just got my mini yesterday.. I got the extension and its actually not too much bigger with it on.. I love the size personally and its currently sitting on my desk at work, barely noticeable. Doesn't feel too bulky in my pockets either which is why I usually hate bigger tube-type mods and MVP's

I love all of my Provari. I love my polished mini but the battery starts flashin' at the most inconvenient times. I always carry another batt in my change pocket (don't put any change in there with it or you'll be shuckin' them jeans in a hurry when it starts shortin'" With an 18650 I can vape all day before I need to change the battery and I vape a lot. six of one half dozen of another.

Although an 18350 lasts me a perfectly acceptable length of time, I definitely agree with the flashing light coming at the worst times! It's always either when I'm just about to try a new juice, or I sit down with my feet up and a coffee and then I have to remember the latest most convenient place I've put my battery box :D

Most of the above post are right on the money. I myself own 4 Provari's (3 Mini's - 1 Regular). The regular has been pretty much relegated to home use with the Tatroe base and Z-Atty Pro. The mini just fits me better. As far as the battery issue goes, with my vaping style on a work day I go through 2 18350's. That is mainly using a Kayfun type device at around 1.6 to 1.8 ohms. YMMV though.

I think they are the same device... one is smaller and more convenient for travel is really the only difference in my mind. I can say I have a regular and added a ring to go to 18650's for the extra vape time. Currently I get about 3 days out of a battery. I don't find it too large to carry.. just pop it in my pocket and go.

For me the "not having to change batteries often" aspect of using the 18650 is what lead me this direction... but it's all personal preference. Love the device.. works great... can't complain.

I'm sure you will be happy with yours. And as you said.. if you find you don't like the regular as much, that just means you have to get a second one :)

Hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine.

I'm happy to report I took delivery on my new black/red hybrid Version 2.5 Provari last night and so far the device is living up to all of the reported expectations. After an evening of assembly and dialing the machine in to the settings that seem correct for me I have to say I'm thrilled with it.The first thing I noticed right off was the consistent flavor all through the experience. After adjusting it I didn't seem to have it change to burnt or dry hitting that sometimes happens with some of my other devices. It came with a Kanger Pro Tank 2-going in I read there is an issue with some tanks cutting off the air draw if its too snug on the battery unit.I'll probably be replacing the tank with something else in the future but for the present I can live with it.Backing off the tank a half a turn it began hitting like crazy!I also bought a five pack of 3 ohm cartomizers and tried one but to be honest I don't know if I could get used to a Carto after using tanks since the beginning-I really haven't fooled with the Carto much so I could be doing something wrong.I don't have a feel for filling it and I don't know if there is enough or too much juice in it.It doesn't taste as robust as the tanks.

The way I feel tonight I could own another one of these things no problem!(maybe a couple!LOL!)

Thanks everyone for your comments and direction!

Congrats on your new Provari. It really is an experience that's hard to describe without owning one.

You might also want to check out the Provari threads in the Provape forum in the vendor section on ECF. You might find a number of suggestions including how to use your Protank effectively. I know some people tighten it down with a folded tiny slip of paper under the tank and there's a aero base that works very well with Protank2's for < $5 you might want to consider. There's also a picture thread showing various toppers which I really enjoy seeing how they look before buying. And of course, everyone would love to see yours. The new hybrid colors are interesting.

Just wanted to say welcome to Provari.
