I have put a 3.5 ohm SINGLE coil on my provari and still no luck with the battery ,, great taste, great flavor.. but it just dies really fast.. I figured since my ohms are so high i can be in the 5.5-6 volt range.. I am pretty sure its the batteries,, i've tried cleaning them with cloth and the 510 connectors both on the provari and the 510 on the rba. I'm really not SURE as to why.. any other reason it could be besides old batteries? any suggestions.. (i have 1 AW IMR 18350 700 mAh and 1 IMR 18350 800 mAh)

Hmm - hard to say if that's unusual. I run lower res and lower voltage, like 4 to 4.4, and got double that time on an AW.
It might be worth picking up one more battery if you're not SURE about it. Or getting the extension to run 18490's.

i'll be using my zombie extention on my blue provari ;P.. (im getting the reg size provari with the matching extention) Blue body with blood?? helllll yeahh!! lol.. thank for all the nice replys.. i have 4 other 18350 IMR 800 mAh efest coming (idk the brand of my other IMR 800 but i don't think its efest) anyways after xmas i'll be rocking an extended mini blue provari with a bloody tip i suppose :D.

There's nothing wrong with the batteries. That's how long they last.

kk.. stocking up on back ups for back ups.. lol have like 100 ml of juice.. big ball of yarn.. 150 feet of kanthal.. and now.. 8 batteries in total (if you count the ones on the way) BACKUPS FOR BACKUPS oh yeah and i have 4 apv's soon to be 5 when i get my zombie provari

Where and when did you get the batteries?
And the charger?
I found a BIG diff between the AW IMR I got from RTD and the Efest I got from, well, somewhere in China.
Both brand new, the AW 700 lasted far longer than expected - and far longer than the 800.
Also - what's "really fast"? They are fairly small...

batteries were bought from vapor labs the dude said

i'm guessing this is the AW IMR he gave AW Battery 18350

and i'm guessing this is the other one he gave me (non AW. just IMR) EFest Button Top 18350 800mAh

i think the one he gave me is a knock off or missing the sticker cause it only reads in black text IMR 18350 800 mAh 3.7v no efest anywhere

I here ya man. I use an extension cap for a 18490 battery. I got tired of forgetting a battery when I went off for a delivery. I get roughly 4-6 hrs on a 18490. I take two to work everyday. Unless I take my Buzz Pro.

Been a long time since I've heard the buzz Pro mentioned. Great little mod. (if you know how to stack batteries)..
I always carry at least 3-4 mods everyday. If anyone of them is using 18350's (always AW IMR) I throw a couple of extras in my backpack.
But then when I leave for work everyday it looks like I'm running away from home. Sorry it's filled with a bit of food and lots of vape stuff.

A good quality battery charger does make a difference from my experiance.
It won't make an 18350 last much longer while vaping but will extend the batteries useful life.

If you're using a trustfire charger it would be a good idea to test the batteries with a multimeter pre / post charging to ensure proper charge.

I get 2 - 3 hours of heavy vaping & 4 - maybe 5 hours of medium/ light vaping from an 18350.
Sounds like you'll be happy using an extension on the mini & 18490.
The 18650 with (extender cap) on the standard provari lasts quite a while for me.
