"Things" just cost what they cost, if you do not like the cost buy another "thing". There are a lot of "things" out there, enough to make every one in almost every budget range happy. There are also tons of "things" with different options, enough to make any cessation candidate or hobbyist happy. Provari may not be the thing for me anymore but it was a damn fine device and worth every penny that I paid for them when I bought them. I more than got my monies worth out of them. Nice end to it all is that I got some of my money back when I sold them.

I bet big money, provape could release a 50 watt mod tomorrow, and there will be another thread complaining they are outdated for not having tc and .2 ohms ability
Even if they included TC and really low ohm capability, as long as they stick with their insufferable single-button controls, there would still be plenty to complain about! :D

A lot of folks don't know much of the provari is based on military design rules, single, non mechanical switch is more reliable.

Do you argue this much in real life too? Lol

The thread was nice and calm and BAM back to arguing about the price of a provari.
Right. Because a thread is only good if it's full of worship and talking down on people who don't see the value.

right? god forbid we discuss the original topic of the thread, lets just continue to complain about people complaining and discuss subjects off topic. Some people are such hipocrits complaining about the way ECF is now, when they are contributing to whatever they think ECF is now. Some people just don't know how to have a discussion without insulting anyone who doesnt agree with them. Then the funniest thing of it all, they find it even more offensive that people reply to their degrading comments, like people are supposed to just accept their replies as truth and not retort.

Perhaps you didn't understand the resale value after two years???

Just because you say that doesn't mean your going to get more for your superior HTC at the end of two years then the inferior iPhone.

Now, who's right and who's wrong?

I like to believe the sales/resell market first. And you second. People vote with there wallet, and they say otherwise. The same holds true with a ProVari also!!!

Cheers, Jim
Except the ProVari isn't nearly as popular. It kind of sucks though that all hell breaks loose in these threads if one person mentions a con about somebody's GOAT device.

So what would be a good price and feature set for ProVari to shoot for in your eyes?

You obviously feel strongly that it falls short of the mark.

I'd genuinely like to know what they need to do for you to feel it was a mod worth paying for.

Except my posts about ProVape are very on topic with the OP. But since they aren't in favor of the brand, they are wrong.

I see a mod like this falling somewhere within the $100 to $150 range.

It still amazes me that a mod for a measly cpl hundred bucks, is such a big deal to some. I'm starting to think that the people who talk about stuff being 'too much money',are the same people who hardly smoked before taking up vaping.

A person spends tens of thousands of bucks on smokes, yet, a mod for 200 is crazy in their mind. Strange.

The OP pondered whether or not anyone is even buying ProVari anymore. At least a dozen were bought from this thread alone. Case closed...
Run a poll on what most people are buying today and let's see where the ProVari sits compared to other devices in the price range. Everywhere I look, I'm seeing SX Mini's. Most websites and shops can't even keep them in stock.
