Happy anniversary and Valentines day to me! I ordered the provari yesterday and as an added bonus the wife said go ahead and get the Zatty Pro too :D I started off with an Ego-vv from Apollo and was blown away by how much better my Vamo was when I got it. I thought "no need to get anything better" So now on my second Vamo, first one died shortly after getting it, and its starting to have flaky problems. I know from reading reviews here the ProV is that much better than everything else. I wish I would have bought good american quality first time around instead of wasting money on cheap chinese electronics.

Anyway, Im SO excited I had to tell someone who would understand my feelings :D

SuzyQ I got the standard finish (what I wanted) with the blue LED. I got her a Singer featherweight sewing machine. Its antique and she has wanted one for years. About the same $ as well. I try to treat her right.

You both got something you wanted. I call that a great Valentine's Day that has I love you written all over it.

You will love the Provari.
I just recently took the plunge too....and will never look back at cheaper products.

When you hold it in your hands.... you get that feeling that you have a quality product.
I have 2 Vamo's. I do like them...and would recommend one to anyone within a budget.
However, if money allows...I will always have a Provari as long as the quality is like it is now.

The finish is great. It isnt slippery at all.
I personally like the lines around the teardrops... some dont.... I actually do.
The threading is butter smooth. I added a little of the electrical grease to mine....even better.
No battery play at all...rock solid.
The blue led is perfect..not too bright, and clearly readable.
The button is great... its not clicky, but more of a pressure feel to it. It is set well and doesnt move around too much.

All I can say is this thing was well worth MY money, and I would do it again.
I am not a fanboy, but I will speak highly of any product that is of quality....and the Provari in its current form is great.

As a Vamo and a ProVari owner, I understand perfectly. You'll be back in here shortly, saying "Why does this thing make my vapes taste so much better than the Vamo? I'm running them at the same voltage!"

Soon, you too will experience enlightenment, followed by Nirvana. This is the way of the ProVari...

I keep reading these Provari threads and there is usually that one poster with the funniest stuff at the end of their comment!

To me... I really didnt notice a difference in the Provari or Vamo... at higher battery strength.
But as the battery drained... maybe in the 3.5ish mark... I do notice a power difference.
The Provari seems to stay consistent right down to 3.2volts.
The Vamo I normally had to turn up the voltage just a little...maybe .2 or so.

Never tested it on a meter or anything, but my perception was that.
I used 1 black chrome Vamo, and 2 stainless steel. They all did it. But for $50...it isnt a deal breaker.

In my opinion the Vamo is great, for $50....maybe even a touch higher and I would still get one.
But the Provari is in a whole new league, and really isnt even justified being compared to the Vamo.
Apples and Oranges in my opinion...

Did you see this one?
I would be glad to post pics but right now but I do not have a fancy RBA to top it off. I am running Novas at the moment. Doesn't make for the coolest pic but it works for me. I once saw someone say putting a Nova on top of a ProVari was like putting a terd on an ice cream cone. Quite frankly, it is the best tasting terd I have ever tried. :)

I haven't tried the Vamo, but the Provari maintains its voltage right down to cutoff. I've verified that using an inline 510 thread DVM. If I set the voltage at 4v, the DVM reads 3.99v with an atty screwed onto the other end. That works whether the battery is freshly charged or close to cutoff.

Whatever creates the vape you like at the price you are willing to pay is what you should buy. Keep in mind that a $4 pack a day of cigs was about $120 a month. Apply the smoking money to the vaping habit and you can justify anything you want.

That's what I do, only I smoked twice as much as you and I paid twice as much to smoke:) I can buy a lot of stuff and I have.

Speaking of terds on an ice cream cone.. I have a stainless ming tip from IBtanked. Its nice and matches my IBTanked setup wonderfully. It does however look like a terd sitting on the Zatty Pro. Anyone know where I can get a 316 implant grade tip to match it perfectly?

Yes, but I 'd rather not say as I still want to be able to buy them when my paycheck comes in next week. :)

Take a look at these. Titanium, just like the Z-Atty Pro.
