Other than meeting peoples asthetic needs, nothing IMO could be fixed. It is an amazing PV. Built like a tank. The biggest complaint I usually see is the error codes that appear when trying to run high volt low ohm combos, but thats a safety feature to keep it from frying, and that it could accept higher mah batts.

Any improvements in my opinion would be minimal and not worth waiting for. I would imagine we may see more design alternatives over time. I know Provape is introducing several new colors as highlighted on their web-site. I have a V1 device and I like it just the way it is. :).

Im waiting for one that is solar powered and brings me coffee in the morning, other than that I love mine as is as well. I think if I were ProVape I would be working on one with an integrated rebuildable atomizer like the Zenesis, I would line up for that one.

This. A Provari Hybrid PV would be the absolute pinnacle of vaping perfection.

EDIT: Most people seem to think that rebuildable atty makes VV useless, but what about when the resistance of the coil changes over the life of the coil? I COULD take the time to build another wick and coil and install it, OR I could take 3 seconds to adjust the voltage a mark or two and keep using a perfectly good coil.

Could have a better screen, a color OLED screen, make it bigger so it could show more info on it, such has having a battery indicator there all of the time.

Here is what I would like to have the screen all at once...
ohms of device attached
current voltage setting
watts being output.
battery indicator

I would like it to be both a full sized and a mini all in one by being able to take off the long 18500 battery and being able to have a tub for a smaller battery like a 18350 or even something as small as a 400mah battery. Sort of like what the Vision Tox tried to do.... but with out being a total piece of crap. (discount vapors has the tox for $30..lol)

I would love to have one device that I could load a huge battery in to last 1-2 days if I wanted, and when I leave the house to go out for a night be able to take out the big battery and load a much much smaller battery reducing the size of the unit as much as possible for on the go.

I am sure some other can think of some things they will like to see?

You don't want much do ya ? Lol
I think if they made the screen bigger it will not look good. You set your voltage and know how long the battery should last. No more messing around.
If it ain't broke .....

I could see a bigger/better screen. Still one button, and variable wattage, instead of voltage.
I like the menu system and don't wanna compromise the whole one button thing.

I think the screen is just dandy... Any bigger and it would look odd I think. I do agree with keeping the single button design and variable wattage instead of variable voltage. That's about the only change I could comprehend making.

I hope the next big thing from provape will be new pricing on the provari. It will have to come unless they plan on leaving the industry, there's just way too much good competition now and the made in USA thing only takes you so far.

Like what? Seriously I may be relatively new on this forum, but I've been on the vaping scene for a while, and while there are tons of other VV's, there are slim to none on par with the Provari. I mean some will say the Darwin, but it is a different beast entirely.

What about a Provari that is lightweight, has no screen, no naff menu system, is a low price and has a VV Twisty knob at the bottom with nice big numbers? Sure, it sounds familiar- but who cares about copyright and trademark these days?!

Not everyone wants a self defence baton you know.

And... yes! Black at the same price as satin. I'll pay extra for a silver fern swirling around my mod- but black is a standard colour. It's not special!

Memo to Provape: painting something from last century pink on the outside does not constitute an update. Youe web page reads like last century too. Tip: they have been able to bend screens around curves for decades. Even last century! If you must have a screen, why not scroll the data around the mod? That way, you don't have to sit there like a dork pushing the button and losing count! Just push it once and all the data scrolls by.

Yes, my tongue is firmly in my cheek- but there are some solid points here. Who wouldn't want a simple VV mod built like a tank using the latest technology? Sadly, Provape have an expensive product and since 2007, there has been a recession and their mod has advanced so little. Other electronic devices have advanced *and their prices have gone down*!

He who rests on his laurels, does not win the race. Provape is stagnating. Marketing is no substitute for innovation.

I personally don't like the twisty knob idea, and would try to stay away from that as much as possible

just my opinion, tho

I'd love to see:

An LCD display with animations, themes, more info on-screen
Wattage regulation (like the Darwin)
Adjustable center post
TWO BUTTONS
Integrated shielded USB port for themes, etc. Maybe even charging?

ProVape could even go as far as introduce "suggested power levels" for flavor types, which you can install over the cable.

Ie: Download a profile for "fruity" with a selected wattage range. Of course, this won't appeal to advanced users, but it's neat nonetheless.
