Here's an update....
I know everyone is waiting for the "special updates" so...

The two color options that were announced are still in the works. To help clear things up, there are no changes to the device, some people were under the impression that there was a major change in the works, but rather we are just adding to the catalog a chrome and a black ProVari option.

When will they be on the site?

We don’t yet have pricing on these two new options and its taking a little bit longer for them to get finished than we thought originally. But as we see it, we are about 2-3 weeks out. Once I have an update we will post pics and they will be available for preorder on the site.

atty issue question
what does it mean when an atty registers very high and with spec dropping?

I have a problematic atty... rather new... a 510...probably a 2.2 or slightly higher originally...

- when i check (Ao) it registers around 5.+ and starts dropping to around 3.5...

obviously it's a malfunctioning atty ... but any more specific diagnosis?

Yes to both wobble and sliver.

The wobble was designed into the ProVari so that it has enough give to the connector which allows all the attys and cartos of the world to be screwed in and used. When I first got my PV I was a little let down that the atty didn't look straight. Just straighten it and screw it in just a bit more and it looks good.

The sliver lets air in.

Hey everyone,
I just received my provape (titanium model) today. And am using it now with some of provapes jack and cola juice.
Its a great device, feels good in the hand, nice button feel also. I have an e2 on it. I even put the map on it, looks cool for sure. It matches my titanium watch. Something about my obsession with titanium, like women and diamonds I guess.
Now this will take away some of the anxiety for the wait for my provari.

OK, stupid question.

How come when I use my IKV Carto's on the ProVari, the batteries last less than 2 hours on a fresh charge? When I use my MAP Tank, they last almost all day. Hmmmm...

its not gonna answer your question but i heard the IMR batts need some time to break in
i found it to be true for now after i used them for a little they seem to last longer on each charge.

Are they both rate same in ohms? are you having to take big long draws with IKV Carto's come paired to to the map tank? There could be few reason why it happening or combo of reasons ...atty shorting out?

According to the site, the IKV carto's are rated at 2.5 but the Provari tells me one of them is at 2.1 and the other is at 2.6. I'm running a 2.8 MAP Tank.

I'm guessing the 2.1 carto is draining the batteries more because of it's low resistance? It's the one I use the most cause it has my favorite juice in there. Maybe it's just a bad carto.

I just got my Provari last night and I'm also using an IKV 2.5 carto. My Provari is reading it at 2.6. I've never had such bad luck with carto's as I have these IKV's. I've had 2 blow instantly after filling them up with juice. So maybe that 2.1 you have is bad also. But that in itself shouldn't drain your battery quicker.

If you use the 2.1 carto at 4.5v (9.64 watts) and use the same setting of 4.5v on your 2.6 carto (7.78 watts) then yup. Your battery is going to drain faster. Not sure if that helps at all. And if my math is bad someone will come along and correct me.

I'm loving this thing! And now that I'm holding it I can honestly say that I wouldn't want a black or chrome one. This thing just feels right!

Which of Isaacs cartos are you using? I use the 808D megas, and the V2 gold drippys, and my batt goes for more than a day. I vape them at 4.2-4.4v. all day long. I go through 5-6ml of juice a day.
All my 808D megas measure 2.9-3.1 ohms, and my V2's all measure 2.4-2.6 ohms.

Sounds lime something is wrong... What kind of charger are you using? As far as 'breaking in' ... I don't know what that means. I specifically purchased a charger that would maximize battery performance -- the Pila IBC. Chargers matter.

Hmmm, why do chargers matter?

I'm using the IKV Gold Drip Carto's and have a WF-188 charger. The batteries last a long time when not using those specific carto's.
