Nah, just wipe it off occasionally. 5V is OK with 3.0 ohm Boge cartos. You probably just got a couple of bad ones, that's all...
That is my sweet spot! Favorite vape!

Hello to everyone
I just received the device.
I only used it for 5 minutes and since then I get an “E1” error on the display and some times "E4" appears. Of course the device does not work.
I tried 3 different atomizers (and 3 batteries) that are working fine to other devices, but the problem remains.
I only used IMR 18490 3,7V batteries that were included in the package.
Any ideas before i contact Provape?
spring is ok, because i can adjust volts, so there is contact.Throw a cartomizer on it and see if it works, also dont screw your atty's on to tight you may be grounding them out depending on what kind they are, also make sure you have enough liquid in everything wet em all good, just a couple of things to try before contacting Provape.
Edit: I just saw you have error codes with nothing on it, that shouldn't be, check your spring on the bottom cap and make sure it is connected properly.

get ahold of provape. they respond quickly.
My Provari was purchased secondhand through ECF approx 2 months ago. Today I recieved error E8 which went away after changing the battery, however with the Provari set to 6.0 volts with no load there is only 3.82 volts coming out of the unit. The AW IMR 18650 measures 4.15v. When the device is set to 4.0v power output with no load is 2.61v Is there any fix or repair for this?

I’m very happy to say that my device is now working!
after talking to David from Provari, he told me to try remove the top cap to rearrange the cables inside, because he suspected that the is a short.
I could not remove the top end easily, and I did not wanted to apply a lot of force.
So, after unsuccessfully trying to remove it, I just pushed one cable attached to the cap. I tried the device and it worked!!!
