quick question..not sure if its been answered yet but..

does this PV use the pulse width modulation to step up the voltage? If not...how much more efficient is it then say a strictly step-down potentiometer type like the Buzz??

Thanks in advance for any answers!

I think he said it works using PWM -- well, I think he said rapid pulses of voltage or something like that, but I took it to mean PWM, so I could be wrong. I know it's posted somewhere around here.

Ok now put a juice well on it that sucks up any leaks and I'm really done asking for stuff lol.
I mean really, a PV of this caliber should have it, all the cool kids do.

FYI I will not name them here as this is the ProVari thread and not a comparison topic.

BTW I will be gifting many of my mods for Xmas just because of this upgrade alone, great job ProVape, you have hit my mark big time! just get that juice well on it please lol

Come on people,
Juice well
Juice well
juice well
:p It got us the ohms reader didn't it?

Truelove, I think it does have a juice well.

Agree- I gotta share one of the smaller but much appriciated things- I'm hell on attys... I usually blow them out in two or three days max- LRs usually last a day or two max... I have not blown one on the provape in 10 days.... I suspect the regulator may have something to do with it by minimizing spikes but really can't prove it. I'll take it whatever the cause and without explaination.

on another note- I just went the whole day with an LR- 14 hrs at 3.5V with a 1.7atty and 4.5ml... compared to yesterday with a 2.2 at 4.4V and about 3.5ml over about 9 hrs ... I know it doesn't make sense and someone is going to come out with the laws of thermodynamics etc, but I've done it twice... will recharge this battery overnight and run again with the 2.2 tomorrow- I'm having a hard time believing it, but it is what it is.

Thank you for the confirmation of battery life on a LR i was beginning to doubt myself with the longevity of the battery with that atty I don't understand it either but like u said it is what it is

Hi Pete,
Yes but is it the kind that sucks the juice back up into the atti if you over fill?
It looks like it just catches it for clean up. :(

No I don't think it was designed to suck the juice back in...BUT due to the fact that the atty connection sits flush and is not raised... The juice seams to get sucked back through the air inlet holes...

Does it flood the atty when the juice gets sucked back up? That's a big peeve of mine...!

I haven't experienced that althouh i suppose it could happen if the juice is there because you flooded the atty in the first place. As mentioned earlier, the top of the atty connector on the device is pretty much level with the top outer sides of the well...any higher and the atty would probably not be able to retrieve any of the juice from the well - it would eventually overflow....

Could someone tell me what the diameter is on the top.

I'm measuring 13.6mm with calipers best I can. Tough measurement due to the slight bevel as you go in - I wouldn't necessarily rely on this for production units without confirming with Provape first and I'll take a +/- .05mm on the number I gave you.

Hope it helps.
