Got mine this morning too...
Started with AW 18500 IMR...
I am using a 2.2 reg 510 (Titan from TW), which does pretty good on a 3.7 pv... and like it at around 3.4v setting... Mamu, i don't see how you go so high (5.?v)..maybe a pg juice? i use mostly VG.

Love the consistency ....

Batt life extremely short... but maybe because i don't really know how to optimize using this device efficiently.
I get more vapes out of an eGo batt.

Popped in a IMR aw 18650.... we'll see how that lasts.

Will get to go back and look for HV atty recommends...

Loving the ProVari... solid tube mod.. a good feeling knowing your power source is measured; and portable.
I drip with a 1/2 oz. bottle/needle from racers-edge.com... couldn't be easier.

I have a new vape mate waiting for more atty adventures.

Thanks ProVape !!!! !!!!! !!!!!

Glad it arrived and your enjoying.

How much time are you getting on the battery?
The reports are showing great battery life so keep an eye on that cell. Was it fully charged when you started or just the factory charge?

it may be the charger set up; i have a Pila 4 stage that has a spacer for a 14500 and it is quite loose with the 18500; do you think that's it? it only takes an hour or less to recharge...
it lasted an hour or two of vapes
Is there a special spacer i can get for that charger?
(I am using my 18650 IMR now (with extension cap)... this should give me true batt times)

got it;
man this is a sweet mod... feels and functions so solid.

The recessed drip well is a winner!
With my dripping gear (bottle w/ needle), i don't over drip but after using an eGo, it's great not to have to worry about sticky fingers any more (if i did).

1-2 hours doesn't sound right so something is going on with the batt or charger. Typically they take longer to recharge too. You'll have to experiment a little.

I hope it's not a charger compatibility issue. I use the same charger and was hoping the AW IMR 14490s would slip right in with the included Pila spacers. I use it right now on AW IMR CR123as with an extra spacer and it works great. I love the charger especially since it has a car adapter for charging on the road. I wonder if it needs a magnetic spacer -- Lighthound has a 1.6mm spacer that might do the trick.

I wouldn't worry Nisi,
I charged it again, and although it seems loose, on close look, the aw IMR 18490 does fit with good contact... the negative side has the spring that slips it up fine enough to the Pila spacer.

It could be the individual battery; i have 3 of these and this is the first one i used with the Provari...
I may have bungled around a bit with it, learning how to use the programs (just enough to get vaping though lol)...

I'll just have to try the variables (other 18490's; and a second charge)

I do have 3 of the longer aw IMR 18650's (what i'm using now) so hell... I'm not worried.

The 18490 and short end cap does feel a little more hand-friendly imo,
- but what's a little more weight and length when you get more vape time with the 18650's?

Not in a big hurry to try the smaller batt again yet.

...If you have an eGo to hold next to it, that would be awesome. For some reason I just don't have a good idea of the finished size.

Here's a pic of the ProVari next to the Hello-016:

Hi Mamu,

The E7 error will happen if you press the button without a atomizer :)
Glad you are enjoying!!

I'm very pleased with it - you guys have done a great job!!

I didn't have an atty on so glad to know the E7 error is normal.

I also noticed that if I press the button when it's displaying batt voltage or atty ohms I get an E2 error, then an E4 error, then it clears itself and I can vape with it.

Must learn not to press button at certain times

That's good to know. Thanks. Wasn' sure if the 18490s were a little short than the 18500s or something and not allowing good contact. I probably won't have my ProVari until January, but want to be able to charge the batteries and go as soon as it comes in -- don't think I'd have any more patients than that to get it going once it arrives.

Mamu, Is that picture with the 18650 extension ? If not....could someone possibly post a picture of it next to a riva/ego or something like Mamu has, with the 18650...I'm trying to picture just how it will be with the 18650.

Thanks !

That does look like it has the extension installed.

When I get my ProVari, I plan on using the extension while I'm at home and using the regular cap when I'm on the go. It looks a little big with the extension. For home use, it's fine.
