if you check, i wrote... "jimho gives it a thumb.." singular :)
i like we're talking about feed systems for provari; including carto-mods, since Provape has the biggest part of the equation down pat.

I do give it a thumbs up but with reservations (not two thumbs up)- functionally, I've gotten it to work with the tube mod and a pin hole at the top of the tube - a few folks are calling it the "Jimho" mod.... whatever- it works without inverting, it's reliable, it doesn't leak, it doesn't run continuously and with a bit of practice, you get the feel of feeding down pretty consistently. Beats dripping and driving.

Minuses:
-It's not an auto feed
-it's easy to flood the atty if you press too hard
- and it's not attractive -won't say exactly what it looks like here- but phallic references are just too easily made... just look at it on any tube mod ;-)

Functionally though it just fills a gap.

I kinda figured you would get yours today Congratulations. My shipping updated this morning that it got to its second stop than later it said it was at the PO so good news for me I'll be waiting on the mail man.

I am so shocked that it's actually here I didn't know what to do for a sec.
But just for a second! :p
I hope you get yours today also bigsix300!
Stalk that mailman!
I think I'm going to try this 3.2 MAP tank on it next if I can pick a flavor ......
and if I can't I'll wait for Kick Bass Vapor's flavors to come in first!

Besides not being able to pick a flavor to use it with I haven't had a single problem with this device and I'm not an experienced vaper by any means. I had to go to a doctors appt. just now so I put a cisco lr 306 on it grabbed the fruit punch juice {half bottle sent with, odd?} and took off with the Provari.
It is a very intuitive device I have to say just a quick look at the manual and I was off and running with the Provari.
My doctor is as thrilled as I am that I quit smoking with PV's.
I love the way it feels in my hands, it has a great heft and it just feels good to hold especially for me having severe carpel tunnel issues. Some mods are difficult for me to grasp easily for any length of time.
Another point for me is I really like the sense of power it gives me to be able to program my device into my perception of what is important when vaping IE TH,taste, ohms,or even what level my batteries are at.
I'm in love!
Do you think I could get someone to marry me to my "Pietro Provari"?*

soon as I get my husband to find a nice girl, any body available?

Thanks. It actually only took about 30 seconds to figure everything out.

I'll do some testing and get back to you!

1 more hour left until I get out of work and home to my ProVari...

No longer shipping with the device....
It's online here http://www.provape.com/v/images/ProVariManual.pdf

Now do me a favor and try a few different atties with the same resistance from different places...
but don't change the voltage :)
I'm sure this isn't what you are looking for but i have a 2.2 Titan that i've had for a while, on the shelf because it's a dud... not initially, but it's seen better days.....even after cleaning, it still registers 2.2...

it still vapes bad (non vape)... like it was flooded, even at higher volts... still a dud.

I re-ordered some Titans (TW) since because they are a decent 2.2 atty actually.

just can't figure this one out though....

Got mine this afternoon at about 2:00pm EST. I'm not easily impressed so i held off on judgement until i could try it for myself. After 4 hours of playing with it i have to confess....i am impressed. When i originally saw the .1 volt increments i really didn't think that such small adjustments in voltage could change the way a particuliar atty would perform. I was wrong. Once again the practical application does not fit the theory. Such small increments in voltage alone "should" not provide such noticeable changes in vapor characteristics, but they do. If i don't pass out from hyperventilation from the sheer number of inhales I will continue to run thru the various attys i have but so far have tried:
EastMall 2.7ohm 801
Joye 2.4 ohm 510
Joye 2.5 ohm 306
EastMall 1.5 ohm LR 510
SLB 3.2 ohm 510
EastMall 4.5 ohm HV 510
Homemade silica wick 3.7 ohm atty

It only took a few tokes on each atty to tell if i wanted to increase or decrease voltage. Once i got each atty to where it was working like i liked it, i vaped it dry and changed to a completely different juice to see if the variation in juices required an adjustment to the voltage....nope, it seemed to be more based on getting the atty and voltage tuned and all the juices were spot on for me. I even took a couple of old attys that had been relegated to the "emergency drawer" in case i ever ran completely out and put them on and bumped the V up just a bit, like .3 or .4 volts, amazing results, not quite new but very useable.... will do more tests on this later...... too busy seeing if i can nic OD.........stop vaping.....breathe.....breathe.....ok try some more.....
I'm not crazy about how far below the sight glass the display sits but very small detail and functions just fine. I also actually prefer the smooth texture the button has over the silicone soft touch ones so many batteries have now...doesn't get stuck when pocketing/unpocketing it. Don't have any IMR 18490 batts around but if i get good life from the 18650's i will probably drop back to the 18490's to save the 1/2 inch. This thing is crazy well made....

I am not going to go on and on but this is the end of a mod era....the days of putting together a battery tube, mechanical switch and a resistor are done, over, gone. If it continues to perform this way my other mods will be either passed on to friends or placed in my "mod museum" for the times i like to reminisce....

For the time being, this is the state of the art for mods IMO...currently only some of the other VV type devices may have a chance to trump it.

I have an ato-mizer comming from NHaler and can't wait to test it on the Provari as well.....VV and rebuildable atty housing!! Now we just need Jimho to create a perfect autofeeder for the Provari!

Exactly what I'm looking for- another example I hadn't considered-
Its kind of another discussion we're having elsewhere (deliberately avoiding mentioning the device by name), but the point is that the sweet spot is a little different on each atty, so the concept of dialing in a power level and expecting all of your attys to heat the juice the same way, without ever having to adjust the power, is a fallacy.

The ProVari is an excellent tool for proving that- just use two different attys from different manufacturers that have the same resistance- I bet you'll tweak the voltage up or down a notch to get it to taste the same as the other.....
