Can you make the button blue instead of red?
This mod is awesome, awesome and AWESOME! Just a quick question about the warranty. Let's say the digital display goes wacky after 1 year... what would be the approx. cost of getting it fixed after the warranty has expired? Maybe what I should be asking is, what would be the most expensive part to fix? I'm just trying to justify the cost and convince myself it would be worth the price in the long-run.
lol nice. I'll definitely be picking this up. The simplicity of changing voltage is just too cool. One questions on that though. Do you have to keep clicking to go up in voltage or can you hold the button down to quickly "zoom" through the settings? It's not a big deal either way but I was just curious. Thanks
Side note: If you like my slogan feel free to use it. lol
Blue LED - At this time we cannot. Blue LEDs require a higher voltage to run and with the way its setup we selected red because it was bright enough to get through the clear button and has a lower voltage requirement. The actual button itself is clear and you can turn the led off so it won't light when you press the button. The low battery alert will still let you know but that only comes on towards the end of the battery life. In most of the pictures it looks like the button has a red tint but its actually clear.
I was actually joking about the LED color David but now I learned something new. I'm also now curious as to why a blue LED takes more voltage to run but you don't have to take the time to explain.
The differences between the 18490 and 18500 - Size. The 18490 is just a tiny bit shorter in length but both batteries will work.
Which do you recommend?
Or just as bad as driving a 5spd,trying to drip, checking and responding to forum, and adjusting voltage with a screwdriver in traffic![]()
the whole VV thing will be geared towards learning about HV attys
VV makes atty resistance irrelevant.
Excellent. Will keep an eye out. I definitely don't need another mod, but the Provari has got my attention. Thanks.![]()
, but I couldn't resist - just placed my pre-order today. woot!!Does the menu allow you to check the battery level? If not, it would be a nice feature to be able to see the current bat voltage![]()
Hey BG!! <waves>
I definitely don't need another mod either, but I couldn't resist - just placed my pre-order today. woot!!
Kudos Vape360 - I've been waiting a year and a half for a PV of this caliber!! And believe me - I'll be workin it. I did a happy dance when I saw that the boost circuit the ProVari has can provide up to 12.5 watts. lol
ETA: I run my regular 510 attys at 5.5 volts and run my LR attys at 4.3 volts. That comes in slightly under the 12.5 watt limit. <yay>
