I think that's a very good question about the updates, I really cant stand buying a mod and then there are updates and updates, and the peep's that purchased months down the road end up having a nicer end user product then the early purchasers. what will happen to us first purchasers who are supporting this mod and pre ordering it. Will we have any options at a discount to have any updates added to our mods and can we send them in for these updates if they happen, I would like to know about this just for piece of mind. #3011

I agree with this statement. Say we get the provari and there is updates to it can we send it in to get replaced how will that work Thanks much.

I think this is an excellent question as well and would like to know if we have these options for future code\software upgrades or if the warranty would cover this or maybe we just pay for shipping it there, but oh man being without the mod for a week or so :(

It’s a great question. We don't foresee any major updates. One of the main reasons is were pretty much out of space on the processor at this point. Were going to add everything that we can upfront before shipping so we can try to avoid updates and more updates. Now this isn't to say there will never be updates but at this point things look solid.

But just incase, in the event there is something that comes along, something major, yes you would be able to send it in for an update and there wouldn't be any charge other than shipping. :)

with a device called an eprom burner.

Doesn't look like it works that way.

Can you use a AW 18650 2900mAh LiNiCoO2 or RediLast 2900mAh battery ???? I believe the Max Discharge rate is 5.8A. They are a fair amount longer than the IMR 18650s though. Concerning an extended warranty, no I wouldn't buy it because a year from now I will most likely be vaping with something completely different (if past experience is any indication of future results!).

David i would buy the extended warranty if thye price was right. But i would like the option of noit having to buy the option warranty right away as i think i spent enough for now. But if we could get an extended warranty say up to 6 months down the road would be great. if so i am in my friend. I dont know what you guys would want to do if it ever gets sold.

What was your question jonny?

...what is the finish on the tube?

...how robust is the ProVari system against vibration? ...I had bought a blu months ago thinking it would be the perfect travel PV. The Harley killed it.

Why only a 1 year warranty on this one? Should something fail (most likely being the electronics) what would the estimated cost be to repair?

Hi Jonny,

Sorry I missed this one... It slipped past me. Things have been a little hectic lately and so if I ever miss a post or you need a quick answer you can always email me.

It’s a very solid and well built device and there would be nothing to cause problems from vibration. I won’t get into the differences between a quality American made device over the cheap Chinese devices. Well save that conversation over drinks someday. :)

There are no wires inside to come loose as everything is surface mounted onto the PCB.

It’s a very robust system and designed with military design rules. You can refer to the folks who own a ProVape-1 - I know many of you have accidentally dropped your ProVape-1 and everything was fine.

We have an excellent reputation for building quality products and standing by our products with only the best service. None of this is going to change!

Just because an electronic cig has electronics in it, doesn't mean it’s not going to be reliable and give you many years of enjoyment. While a lot of you might have had a bad experience with cheap Chinese products, there really is no comparison to what we have put into the ProVari.

Think about all the electronics you use everyday. Just one example, cars (and even some Harleys) are loaded with electronics being used in rugged and harsh environments everyday and how often do you have something electronic go out?
It’s mostly the moving parts and mechanical things that break down. I know this may be a bad analogy but for the point :D

If I missed another post just bump it, or email me anytime!!
