I'm still holding out, but my strength is waning.

My problem is I don't know how inferior my Chucks are yet.
And I'm not yet convinced that I want to know.
:(

Does the Check Battery (CB) option tell you the current battery voltage?

Well a ProVari would look good inbetween your two Chucks. Yup I am seeing a new Avatar in your future. Pull the trigger its the Holidays. You know you want it. Just tell yourself how much you deserve it and go nuts with the credit card. Remember the man with the most credit extended when he dies WINS

*************************************************************************************************************
Orders up to 2928 have shipped and on their way.

Over the next two weeks the shipping batches are going to get larger and larger so hang in there as we are ramping up production. :)

your chucks are not inferior products- they are certainly well made and unique devices. They simply give you pretty much what the battery puts out at any point in time. If consistency from the first to the last draw isn't important to you, if being able to tune the voltage to your atty isn't important, and if the safety features aren't important, then there's no reason to consider this device.

Did that help? ;)

To those of you that have been shipped, at what point was your card charged? Did anyone notice the charge before they got the shipping notification?

The shipping email hit my inbox at 1:30 am on 12/07. I noticed it when I got to work at 5:00 am that day. My bank records show the purchase posted to my account(pending) on 12/07, and the funds deducted on 12/09. unfortunately my online banking doesn't include a time stamp for purchases only the date, so that's as accurate as I can be for you.

Hope that helps a little :)

...got my shipping notice this afternoon.

going back in time,
I went to bed around 10pm last nite (big fri nite :)).
Unbeknownst to me, Provape sent me an email that my credit card refused the order #2913, around 11 pm ...

I woke up to the email.... panic.... no no this can't be.

I hurriedly changed the payment info on my Provape account on the Provape site, called Provape, emailed Provape, prayed ... and had to leave for puppy training, which is very important to my marriage.... if the pups don't behave, bad things could happen. lol.
When i got back a few hours later, David had notified me that all was good and he wouldn't dump me from my place in line....

This afternoon at around 4pm i got my shipping notice; which apparently is an electronic process and expect the shipping to actually happen on Monday (usps).

good things sometimes come in bunches....
Also got my payment request for my second Phidias today; made payment.
Set up puppy training where the trainer comes to my house 3x week and once a week i take pups to the doggy park (disney land for dogs)... this gives my wife hope that she and the family won't get bowled over at the door all day long.

great day ... looking forward to a good week...

i am so ready for Christmas... cheers to all and shared good times on ECF ! :)

How many units do you expect to ship before Xmas?

We don't have any exact numbers or dates at this time otherwise I would tell. They will be shipping as they are available.

The demand for the ProVari was more than we expected and it’s going to take us a little time. We expect to be caught up early January. Keep in mind, units will still be shipping from now until then so it’s not like nothing is going to happen until Jan :)

We are working hard to ship as many as we can before the holidays, but we have had a couple of supplier delays. Nothing major but its slowed things down a little.

We will make a dent in the pre-orders over the next two weeks leading up to Christmas and the remaining will have to be after as Christmas is only 12 days away and closing in fast. We will be working through the holidays to keep things rolling.

Considering it's 3am on a Sat night and were still working should be a sign as to our commitment ;)

Even if it’s after Christmas, trust me, it will be worth the wait as this is one sweet device!!!

I have to say, you guys are a real class act!

Earlier this year, I got caught up in the hype over a gaming laptop that was coming out, the ASUS G73-Jh A1. I ordered it from a company that specializes in customizing "exotic pc's" and was probably one of the first 100 people to pre-order.

ASUS was caught off guard by the huge demand. The US distributors couldn't get them produced fast enough to meet the demand BUT they wouldn't tell the community which orders had been fulfilled, how many they were getting through each day or any other information to quiet the masses.

We started a pre-order wait list thread on their forums (which is still going to this day and I got my rig in April) and posted our order numbers. They freaked out, moderated all of the numbers and then had to deal with a lot of ...... off geeks.

They eventually capitulated but it was an awful process.

ProVape is doing an amazing job of pumping out Vari's and I'm confident that even though my order number is 3254, I'll get it sooner than I expected AND I won't be wondering how far off I am because of their openness and honesty.

Thank you for a one-of-a-kind device and a truly exceptional pre-order process!!

I can attest to the unbelievable commitment of Pro Vape to its customers. David has been working 20 hour days (actually sleeping at the office) to get things squared away. OAN....I have a beta pro-vari, ROCK SOLID device. 18-20 hour battery life. Perfect form and fit. Regulated power delivers perfect vape from first hit to the last. IMHO, a real game changer for the e-cig community. Well worth the wait.
