We had a vaping meet in November here in Rochester, and I "fixed" several "blown attys" that were simply pushed in too far... it happens all the time... ESPECIALLY when going back and froth from device to device. I have had new attys fail to connect as well... give it a tug and VOILA' all better! The E7 code is telling us the unit isn't seeing that atty there, so theres a good shot that this is the problem

I'm sorry, what tool do you use again? I just blew another week old atty last night. I've got about 4 now at home that I want to see if I could resurrect.

quick question, where are you getting you're atty's from? and are the atty's just not firing at all? or are they firing but just barely?..if they are firing try doing a dry burn as best you can and see if that helps (assuming you haven't already), ive been using the same magma atty from volcano for about a month now and its working like a champ but i clean the threads on my atty and batt every night and do a dry burn maybe once every 2 weeks or so if that. im going to add more to this. also some things you might want to take a look at is if you're juice has any kind of particles or chunks of things floating around in it as that can shorten the life span of you're atty as well (saw a review where someone vaped jalapeno e-juice and not only did i cringe at the flavor but i cringed at the point where she started talking about how she could see large particles of jalapeno floating around in her juice and was thinking how quickly her atty is going to go because of it)

I only use LR atty's from HERE. Maybe I need to start looking at different ones. What I'm guessing is that I've been screwing them on too tight. I should have 2 new ones waiting for me in the mail today so I'll try to see how long they'll last me by just screwing them into my PV just enough so they're somewhat tight.

FWIW, I sold all my mods to get the ProVari so right now I'm only using my eGos. I have 4 batteries and 1 passthrough. I use the PT 90% of the time.

I use a stealth adapter for 510 to 901/808 from vaporflow.com and empty coolcarts cartomizers from V4L. I get better flavor than the 510 or 901 atty's that I have used at any voltage and get great throat hit an vapor production. I've even used them at 6 volts (which I don't usually use due to burnt flavors) and haven't popped a cartomizer yet. Those that say they dont't like carto's maybe haven't tried the newer ones lately, they work great. I would say to all to give this combo a try, you will be suprised how well it works on the Provari, and you don't have the expense of all those atty's.

I have bought a bunch of these and blown 3 so far. Not sure why... Did get one DOA and they sent me another without questions.. In fact i think these are the only ones that i have blown so far. I have noticed that they are really low sometimes. I get readings of 1.4 on some of them.

OK, that's good to know, thanks!

probably a very silly question but...when using the LR atty, how many drips do you drip onto it? those things need to be literally soaked in it or they will die fast, infact a more popular method to dripping with those is dipping where you actually fill up a carto condom with juice and then just dip the atty into it for a couple seconds and put your tip back on

I drip about 4 drops into the atty. I've never heard of that dripping method.

btw random question but does anybody know what the OHM's are on a standard magma 510 atty?
If it is the same as a standard Joye 510 atomizer, then we are talking about something around 2.2 ohms if I am not mistaken.
But it might be as much as 2.5 ohms perhaps.

This should be my quote-of-the-month:
Get a cheap multimeter and stop guessing! 3 bucks at Harbor Freight (or similar) leaves no excuse not to have one....LOL

Nice vid, Scott.
