We should have some info on the updates coming this week.
Nothing internal has been changed for the provari in the updates. Just eye candy... But thats all I can say... Plus some other things we are working on. ;)

i need to try this with my phone.... maybe as a GPS satellite? Only if my Provari was black.. it would match my phone...

Does this mean you will have them in different colors now :confused::confused:

Wow now what should I do, order now or wait to see what will be next?
I guess I can wait. Hopefully not to long!

What would be wicked sick for the Provari V2 is to have an automatic wattage calculator to go along with the others. It really is all about the wattage at the atomizer, you can get W by using this equation. Voltage squared, divided by the resistance of your atty/carto. I like mine right around 9-9.5 watts.

Maybe the chip could even allow you to put in your favorite vaping wattage and automatically adjust the voltage to increase/decrease based on the atty/carto you have in at the time.

That would just be so sick.

That was discussed a long time ago when the betas were out... I think it is to complex... I also believe there isn't enough room to add this.. So I do t think it's in the cards for the provari.....

Provari v2 u have some info the rest of us missed lol?

Since you've only got 17 posts, I won't jump back in to this "discussion" again. There are other threads on this subject. ProVape can certainly do it if they want to but I don't think they're losing any customers to the device that does this.

BTW - that formula is called "Ohm's Law"

And the app is ohms law ;)

I'm wondering if I can get the newest version if i'm already on the waiting list. I certainly don't want to step out of line with a 3 week lead time.

I don't blieve there is going to be a "new" version of anything the provari is new and doesn't need to be changed..... Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the provari will be around for a long time the way it is.....

ProVape has indicated that they are not making a ProVari 2. (Yet)
The only hint they've given is a possible color choice.

That's what i was hoping, the question being will the people in line already have the chance to choose a color if the option becomes available. Also, I'm with you nick, I think it will be around for some time to come.

I just received my ProVari today!
Many thanks ProVape!

I'm really satisfied with it.
I seems like I don't even need LR attys in the future anymore.
A simple Joye510 atomizer with this device performs wonderfully! (on 4.5V)
It gives a much better throat hit than any LR510 attys before and it has a perfect taste (which I couldn't say in connection with LR attys).

Actually I don't know why would be important to use IMR high drain batteries for this device. :)
I'm using a cheap Chinese Trustfire 18650 battery for it (it's not high drain at all) and I've been vaping for about 10 hours almost non-stop (chain-vaping) and the battery is still almost totally full.
I guess it'll drain (based on these 10 hours) after about 2-3 days, so this is absolutely perfect, I can say.
If a battery lasts for more than a whole day on 4.5V... then I couldn't imagine anything better than that.
Of course it could last for weeks haha... but who cares? It's not a big problem to put the battery on the charger at the end of the day. (or at the end of the 3rd day)

The device is very well built, it's solid and looks good. The well on the top of the device is VERY useful against overdripping.
About the weight: It's not extremely heavy. Heavier than almost all the devices I tried so far, but it's still not too much.

By only problem is: the button stucks in, all the time. It's quite disturbing because I almost burnt down my atty with the very first button press.
I realized that if I push the button a little bit downward during the button push, then it doesn't stuck in.
So it's not a very big problem anymore.
Anybody else ever experienced this problem with the button?

Demon, if you don't mind me asking, what order number are you? We have lost track where the orders are at....

My order number was #3642.
It was shipped on 26th January. (it took quite a long time to receive it here in Europe. Almost two weeks).

So my order was shipped almost two weeks ago. I guess they shipped a lot of orders after mine.
I'm sure I wasn't the last one.

I have never had my button stick. It is my only pv and I chain vape all day long. I'm not sure why you have that issue because in looking at the button, I don't see anything for it to catch on. I would shoot them an email and ask about it.

BTW - my favorite advantage to IMR is no explosions

I experienced the same button problem with the Indulgence mod.
I screwed off all parts of that device and I saw that the inner parts moved a verry little to a direction. (maybe during the shipping they dropped the package a lot of times) The inner part moved just about 0.1mm. It's almost nothing, but it's already enough for the button-hole to became a bit more tight around the button.
The Indulgence was possible to screw apart to pieces, so I was able to adjust the inner section just a bit.
But in this case I can't (and also don't want to of course).
So this could be the reason of the problem again I think.

I think time can solve this problem maybe.
Because the button of the Indulgence was a metallic one, so it never became smaller because of many button pushes.
But in this case, since this is a plastic button, I think that the unnecessary 0.1mm on the upper side of the button will come-off during the usage. I mean it'll be abraded just a bit if I push the button many times.
