Hmmm, why do chargers matter?

I'm using the IKV Gold Drip Carto's and have a WF-188 charger. The batteries last a long time when not using those specific carto's.

If batteries are undercharged, you could potentially experience what is happening to you. If batteries are overcharged, their life expectancy is going to crap. Quickly.

On the other hand, that 2.1 ohm carto is using almost 10 watts at 4.5v... Definitely gonna drain the batts quick!

My V2 drippers are all 2.4-2.6 ohm and I vape all day at 4.2-4.4v. Was it 2.1 ohm out of the box, or did it get that way over time? I've found that they lose a little when they're near the end of their delicious little lives... They really, really taste good, but with my 60/40 pg/vg go to juice, they don't last more than 3-4 days.

Which of Isaacs cartos are you using? I use the 808D megas, and the V2 gold drippys, and my batt goes for more than a day. I vape them at 4.2-4.4v. all day long. I go through 5-6ml of juice a day.
All my 808D megas measure 2.9-3.1 ohms, and my V2's all measure 2.4-2.6 ohms.

Sounds lime something is wrong... What kind of charger are you using? As far as 'breaking in' ... I don't know what that means. I specifically purchased a charger that would maximize battery performance -- the Pila IBC. Chargers matter.

Only thing bad about Pila Ibc charger is you have no warranty unless you use Pila battery's. If you use any other battery you have no warranty or service help and for $50.00 that would suck if something failed.

I just got my Provari last night and I'm also using an IKV 2.5 carto. My Provari is reading it at 2.6. I've never had such bad luck with carto's as I have these IKV's. I've had 2 blow instantly after filling them up with juice. So maybe that 2.1 you have is bad also. But that in itself shouldn't drain your battery quicker.

If you use the 2.1 carto at 4.5v (9.64 watts) and use the same setting of 4.5v on your 2.6 carto (7.78 watts) then yup. Your battery is going to drain faster. Not sure if that helps at all. And if my math is bad someone will come along and correct me.

I'm loving this thing! And now that I'm holding it I can honestly say that I wouldn't want a black or chrome one. This thing just feels right!

I have had similar experiences with IKV's blowing out immediately. Almost 1/2 of all IKV's I have purchased over 3-4 orders, have been very short-lived. I know people swear by his cartos, but I have moved on.

Yup, I've had 3 of those expensive $3+ a piece carto's blow out quick. I think I'm gonna use up my supply and never buy those again.

I bought that specific chargers due to all the raves at the >$100 flashlight forum... They really know their stuff when it comes to batteries.

I'll stick with AW batts. The WF-139 is a good charger for the money and widely used by the flashlight crowd.

Just wondering back aways people were talking about the readout getting scratched. I thought I would try cutting a piece of one of my cell phones screen savers and putting it on when I get my ProVari. Has anyone tried that to protect it?

Good thing I have my other mods including a hybrid to keep me happy for now.

I was being sarcastic.. I use the AW's as well. I haven't had anything work as well in the mod.
