lol, I was thinking the exact same thing, I read about the color option last night and was waitting to see the pics. Didn't quite expect to get the shipping info this mourning.
The bad thing is, I leave town for 4 weeks tuesday evening. Don't really think it'll make it here before I leave town. So I really wouldn't have minded to wait for dilivery of a black one. At least I'll have one here when I get back though.

Its a black powder coat crinkle. It has a little texture which is really nice. Looks much better than a shiny black IMO.

Trying to get the photos for the Chrome. The photographer took off with it and won't answer his phone..haha...Sooo photos are delayed until I can track him down. I mean, the chrome looks amazing! but I didn't think the photographer would take off with it. Well find him
The black and chrome option will be +$19.95 and the 18650 end caps will be available for $23.95 which will also match in color.

how is the logo applied on the black and chrome versions? is it the same laser etching like the silver? i wouldnt want the logo wearing off easier on the color versions. the logo on my provape silver is still perfect.
Well my provari was going to ship Mon/Tues per the provape guys.
I was able to upgrade to black. May take a few more weeks, but I'm ok with that. It will be worth the wait.

Idk... I must be the odd ball because I like the bead blasted Stainless steel finish. It "grips" nice and I don't need to worry about the finish chipping or scratching. The Black does look sharp as I'm sure the chrome will too but if all 3 were up on the website when I ordered, I'd still would have gone with the Stainless steel. I think they made a wise choice to start out with it.
Just curious, What material did you guys use on the PC and Chrome models? Alum or steel? I would guess Alum to help shed some weight.

If I really wanted to wait, I'm sure I could have held up my order but I kinda agree. The silver has a great texture, looks nice and has proven to be really durable. Lets look at it this way. If the ProVari had originally been released in Black or Chrome back in December and Satin Silver was the new color choice now... everyone would want it!
i am liking my original finish......granted the blk is sharp...but i am happy with my provari..
Black and chrome are great colors...but I agree I'll be keeping my original silver order. Just kinda bored with black and no way I'd do chrome due to all the polishing and fingerprints...nope..I think media blasted silver is just right!! Only a couple more weeks and it will be here!! Maybe sooner if everyone else goes for the black and chrome...LOL!

Nah, unless we're both oddballs. I prefer my original stainless finish, too. But if people want colors, they can have them, and if they want the original finish, they can have that.
