Maybe I'm not very bright but I'm not visualizing this...
1) Where does the modders connector fit into that? And why?
2) Does the drip shield work slide over the Provari connector, down into the juice well? And does it then work like a juice well and suck up the juice back into the 510? And does it restrict airflow - I heard it pleasantly reduces airflow on a 901...something the 510 doesn't need.

i can answer #2..i used 2 adapters to use it on my provari bought with the shield for the 901..because of the hole in the 901 the juice is sucked in...and no leaking............does not restrict air flow...i have used it with a 510 just for looks...looks cool with the ss ribbed dt's...

On my 510 it slides down, over and on to the modders connector and not into the juice well. It then indeed sucks the juice back into the 510 to be vaped. It also acts as a heat sink, very nice. I live by the drip shield on my ProVari, love it

I love it... i've compared this "smart pv" to the muscle car phase of the 60's ... a new era in a young industry ... modifying things to go on the Vari.

I definitely have 2... after sending my second darwin back, i picked up my back up Vari... which i use for fruit vapes.

i don't modify... just love using it with reg DSE 901 attys 2.9 Ohm... but dual coils sounds neat.

Mine haven't arrived yet .. monday or tuesday, tracking has it cleared customs, I will report back on whether the cones fit the outer thread, I woulb be surprised if it didn't. They deal pretty much exclusively with joye stuff.

Ahh Thank you for the updated source Stonemull. I thought I was going blind! <grin> I really like the price on the ones that you've found.

I ordered a couple today from COV and from the picture they are the same as Heaven Gifts. Mine will likely be here Monday. Both look different than the one from Avid Vaper. You're probably right about the threads. It's the one at Avid Vaper that claims the outer threads are incompatible with the eGo cone. Neither COV or HG make any kind of disclaimer about the threads not being compatible. Time will tell.

I really like the idea using these when I build MOD's since I only use eGo-T's these days. And, on my Provari, of course. <grin>

I'll report on mine and I look forward to hearing about yours as well Stonemull.

I have gone off the tank attys a bit, I have 510-t on the way and also ego-TB in transit, will see how they hold up. I really am over the inability to clean the tank attys properly.
Rediscovered boge cartos (non LR!) this week, add a drip tip and a ProVari and they are a different beast. Vapemate is in its way too now

Arrived last week .. nhaler Ato-miser, interesting bit of kit and I am quite enjoying the ability to customise an atty. Latest one is pretty good though.

I suspect my main unit will end up being the Provari running the boge 3Ω cartos, vapemate and my titanium drip tip.

I have both adaptors, the one from COV and the one from AvidVapor. The one from COV threads match the ego cones, the one from avidvapor does not. The one from AvidVapor has the draw of an ego, the one from COV is airy. Myself, I like the one from avidvapor better even though you can't screw on the ego cone, it has a better draw when using the ego tank.

i found them bad w/ original plastic,
but after mod and using smaller batt size(impressed)

its all i use now!!!

flavours can be a tad muted(i use sharper 1's for that now!)
but overall,

my cure-all for once!
