buy yourself 3 $60.00 mods that might last a year, or buy a Provari and be done with it. I've had the cheapies and lost them all.

So a Provari comes with built in loss and theft protection? :D Seriously though... bad things occasionally happen to *everyone*. It's one of the reasons I chose a VAMO. If I loose it what did I really loose? If I got at least one *week* out of it I still got a better value than a carton of cigarettes! If (when) it breaks or becomes outdated what's the worry?

I'm a fanatical pocket knife carrier and after loosing a couple of $100+ Spyderco's I started buying $20 disposables instead. Still cuts just like a Spyderco. VAMO still vapes just like a Provari.

That said when Provari finally introduces a VW version I'll be one of the first in line to buy one! That's *still* cheaper than a month's worth of cigarettes...

how i also looked at it: spend 60$ on zmax.. and i have a ton of extra $ left over to buy a lots of juices/accessories .. rather than get a provari right off the bat.

also I'm still in my first 60 days so i decided to hold off on the most expensive one until I get more familiar with everything

buttttt if $ is no option then obviously get a provari lol

agreed! the zmax being VW was a big reason why I got it too

Reasons I have yet to buy a Provari ...

1. Menu system. I know you get use to it but It's just a personal preference. I just don't like clicking all the dang time for simple operations when other devices allow me to do it at a blink of the eye.

2. Amp limit. Hoping the next revision will go at least 5 amps so I can get the genesis atomizer "hit" I'm use to.

3. Battery configurations. Would love to see a telescopic version in the next release, or at least have the ability to use 18350 and 18650 in the same device. If the Provari Mini had a 18650 extension cap/tube I probably would have already bought one by now ... even though they would obviously charge extra for it unlike many mods out these days.

ive been carrying pocket knives my whole life and have never lost one or a mod guess that just depends on the person and how they keep track of whats on them.
as far as provari making a VW mod i dont think they will bother there really is no benefit other then not having to adjust the voltage when switching atty's and i think there sales are good enough as is but with that said if they did come out with a VW device i would probably order myself one:)

P(W) = V(V) × I(A)

So watts are equal to volts times amps:

watt = volt × amp

or

W = V × A
Example

What is power consumption in watts when the current is 3A and the voltage supply is 5V?

Answer: the power P is equal to current of 3 amps times the voltage of 5 volts.

P = 5V × 3A = 15W

Hope this clears things up for some that are still on the vv vs vw..
Why we need vw?

My 2 cents... own a ProVari use it for a month then talk about it... dont just believe what u read or what others think same goes as the Vamo... everyone goes like this is better than this and that is better than that, once u tried it for a while ur opinion will change ;)... now ill stop here coz im busy vaping with my Vamo and ProVari coz in my hand both of them r happy being vape away :beer:

And another :2c: If you don't have both of the product then you CAN'T COMPARE THE PRODUCTS. And by the way the Tesla blows the vamo out of the water. But it boils down to whatever you have to do.

I don't think that's true. For one, just because someone doesn't own a product doesn't mean they have never used one. And secondly, it doesn't mean someone doesn't understand the specification differences between two products. I mean ... I don't own a Porche but I could certainly tell you the differences between it and my Saturn. ;-)

Uh...

I don't seem to understand your point at all.

We don't need VW. We don't need VV. VW does provide some benefit not provided by VV. Whether you want that benefit or not depends on you and what trade-offs you have to make to get that benefit.

Read few post back, I was just responding to why provari probably wont go to vw and brief explanation of it. I guess if you get it you do, and if you dont then you should buy vw, vv, and whatever else that make it a "benefit".

Yeah, well, if provari decides to never make a VW unit, it will be similar to iPhone trying to stick with a 3.5 inch screen.

People realize the benefit of bigger screens/VW, but they have the ability to ignore the market in that regard to some extent. Although, apple has started to crumble on that issue.

It allows you to get a consistently good vape no matter what device (resistance) you place on the pv without having to change any settings. It's a "set it ... forget it" feature that I often compare to cruise control in a vehicle.

I set it and forget it at 3.8v.. Its called sweet spot for most. Not seeing answer here.
My Provari parks itself.. now whats up?

Re-read the post. It allows you to get a consistent vape using different resistances. A 1.5 ohm coil is not going to vape the same as a 3 ohm coil on the same voltage setting. On the same wattage setting it will ... because the device automatically lowers or raises the voltage based on the resistance of the coil.
