Go with the sigelei zmax it's the best PV by far. Better menu and screen then the provari, plus you get VW. Takes every ego+510 tank, carto, clearo without an adapter. If it breaks, which it won't, just buy another and another and another and you still haven't spent as much as 1 provari.

while i agree about the Sigelei being a great device(its my favorite out of my cheaper mods) the + battery post breaks pretty easy if you try to use to large of a 18650 in it or drop it so the battery impacts with the + post. it looks solid if you look down the battery tube at it, but its not it is just soldered to the edge of the board like a T shape.if your battery is not flat on it and rests on one side or the other it will pop right off it happened to my first one,so i have to baby my new one.

Its funny how everyone rounds down when quoting prices for the cheep devices but round up when quoting the price of a provari lol you can get a blem provari for $140 or a regular one for $160.

Yes I own them all. Evic with a BOD by LEO -read the post matey before you mouth off. Provari will do VW because it is an improvement and the latest tech. They are currently behind the times.

And here is a picture of my Vamo -which frequently separates at the middle and is scratched to hell. It is worth $40 dollars.

The Innokin SVD is a much better unit all round.

And why would I trust you?? You don't come across as sounding particularly trustworthy at all. :)

Don't Trust me, but trust that you cant take proper care for your equipment. LOL. That vamo is beat. You are the one who split it in half, this ain't a Snickers bar.. I've never had any issues with my vamo, nor Provari.
VV vs VW is the same thing big guy.. just do the math. I think you're behind on times..

+1 ... Find one person who owns all three and ask them what they think.. I bet not one of them who has used these devices for any amount of time would pick a Vamo or an Evic over a ProV..and especially not for the sake of VW which (IMO) has to be the most overrated feature (gimmick in my mind) in the world of vaping hardware right now..I can tell when people answer a question like this who has and has not used these devices.

I have all three..like all three and all three will give you a solid vape experience.. they are not all built equally, they do not all perform equally, and the price reflects that...

OP - If I had to do it again .. I would keep my two ProV minis and get mechanicals for everything else..spend wise, spend once.. but any of these will be a significant step up from a an Ego.. only question for you is - Do you want to take a permanent step or a temporary step?

I prefer that Vamo's menu system over the one button mods like the Provari. You can change settings and get info very quickly on the Vamo.

The Vamo will also allow you to use 18650 and 18350 out of the box.

Provari comes with a 1 year warranty (can buy an additional year) and can be sent in for repair.

If none of those are important to you (outside of cost and VW) then it comes down to which visually pleases you the most. The other differences are rather minor. Both feel solid and can take some rough use.

I can't imagine using device with 1 button.

Spend some time with the device if you can.. you will quickly get past that very minor point after you experience how it performs

would I like a user interface more along the lines of the vamo or even the Evic?.. you bet .. but not at the expense of the drop in performance, feel and durability that they have.. Ill deal with the single button and take the rest!

for 20$ more you can get yourself a Sigelei ZMAX from exhalevapors which is better than the VAMO

not sure what your price range is to spend..

my friend has both and recommended i get the zmax and i'm really happy I did

I got one too and love it. Did you know it has superior voltage stabilization electronics inside. That is compared to the provari.

Buy yourself 3 $60.00 mods that might last a year, or buy a Provari and be done with it. I've had the cheapies and lost them all. I now own a Buzz Pro, 2 Provari's and a cheap 35.00 VV box mod that will be 2 years old in November. As for watts and mean mode gizmos ? I don't need it. It's all in the coil wire, for a thick, moist, flavorful vape.

My wife just got a Vamo and I have a Sigelei Zmax and a friend has a provari. All 3 do what they are supposed to do. The provari has better build quality without a doubt but as long as you dont play full contact sports with your PV in your pocket or use it as a hammer they should all hold up just fine. I will be getting a provari in the future if for no other reason than to say "i have a provari" but my Zmax is a champ and while the Vamo is only a day and a half old, it seems to be a great device as well. I also bought a what I later found to be a knockoff eGo 1100 mAh as my first PV. I had an eGo twist for a few weeks before getting my Zmax. I too was contemplating the provari VS the Zmax for the same reasons as you. I chose the Zmax because as my first mod i could have everything I needed to get it going (mod, batteries, charger) for less than the provari by itself. The Vamo was even more affordable ( under $100 after a couple 18350s and a charger) so to me, the choice was a no brainer. It gets you in the door with your inevitable collection of mods that you will soon have, without having to drop big bucks for something that works just as good as another, more affordable device. GOOD LUCK!

If I were in the situation of trying to decide between a VAMO and a Provari, I would buy both.

The vamo is only about $40 so, it isn't a big additional expense.

When you get them, try them both. Sell the one you don't like. Or keep them both. If you find out you like the VAMO as well or better, you come out ahead over buying the Provari.

If you don't think you can afford them both - buy a VAMO.

Plus you can take the Vamo when you're out and about and leave the Provari for home use. That way you don't have to worry about losing or damaging a decent investment. (Thinks about the posts about people dropping their provaris in a large body of water ... ouch)
