I am looking to buy the provari today. I need a few suggestions before I make the purchase.

I need to know what cartos I need to do everything possible on this device. I already have the smoktech 1.5dc which do not seem to do well over 4 volts. This is what is happening on the VAMO that I have. It just gets too hot.

I really want to vape at 4.5 to 6 volts with the hardest hit I can get. I do not use tanks or anything else except the smoktech shorties. Therefore, I do not need the tank and the charger. I guess I am concerned with the cartos.

Also, I might be interested in the extension cap. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I also have a charger.

You can purchase your batteries from either Provape (save in shipping costs) or RTD Vapor.

There's a couple of ways to use larger batteries in the Mini:

  • You can purchase Provape's battery extension cap for $25 to use an 18490 battery.
  • You can use one Tatroe Mod Ring for $15 for an 18490 battery or use two rings to use an 18650 battery.

Ikenvape Fusion cartos are a premium cartomizer and a step above Smoktech or Boge: Ikenvape 510-Mega Fusion LR cartomizers I used the punched version in my cartotanks.

Mini Provari with one Tatroe ring (18490 mode) and with two Tatroe rings (18650 mode).

I got the satin SS mini w/extension in polished silver for a two tone effect. The Black mini is hot too! I bought two 18490 batts because I want to use the extension 100% of the time, but using the regular cap and making the mini smaller is great for going out and just slipping it in a pocket (or a purse for the ladies!)

I really want to get a provari based on how well its built and how accurate it is as far as what I am hearing about it. What I do not understand though is why when someone makes a statement that it is overpriced or there are mods just as good and far cheaper, all the heat that someone has to take.

I thought people have a right to give an opinion. God forbid I purchase one and give a negative review on it...Will people be in front of my house with torches...????????????

Envy... usually because they can't afford one.

Any info on the cartos...I think 4 volts is going to be the lowest I go with.

According to the Ikenvape website, the 510-Mega Fusion LR cartos (2.0 ohm) are recommended to be used 3.4v - 4.2v. Cartomizers

If you wish to use higher voltage than that, the standard resistance 510-Fusion (3.0 ohm) can be used @ 3.7v - 5.0v 510 Mega Fusion SR 3.0

I sort of agree with that, but it depends how you look at it. If you were struggling before you started vaping and had to skip buying a pack of smokes so that you could afford to put $5.00 worth of gas in the car, it would probably take you a while to save up for a Provari. Not everyone's fortunate enough to have disposable income.

Now, as to the Provari being overpriced - it's obviously not, because people are buying it!

Sounds like something the Kiosk operator at the Mall would Say in their Canned speech.

That statement means about as much as IF

You buy a Steak you pay for a Steak - Does not mean you will like the result once prepared and served.

May as well be arguing Hummers vs Corvettes!

No, you can't go 4 wheeling very well in a Vette, but the Hummer is not going to fair well at Road Atlanta.:D

Freedom of choice -
