i remembered a pic that you posted and in my mind it was the Taifun box but it isn't

I'm kind of leaning into the thought of getting another mod and hesitating between those too;
i don't like the dani design and really like the taifun design but not sure it's worth the extra money so i wanted to compare both height and width to maybe justify it.

When I was first looking at them, the rounded shapes put me off a bit, but the small size is really what sold me on them. I am used to them now, and carry 2 of them everyday to work. I do like the design of the Taifun, just never did it.

you've got a point about the rounded shape i didn't really consider
but still the Taifun is not all sharp edges:

i will still have to think about it and if i end up getting a Dani, it'll probably be the Pipeline store version(Pro eighty),
they usually add their little touch to some of the gear they sell on their site and in this case they modified the buttons to be more rounded and if i recall correctly,also something with the battery cap.

I knew about the button profile but I'm thinking the battery cap difference may no longer apply. Seem like Pipeline was always using the finger grip battery cap. The original Dani Boxes had a coin slot. But since the V2 box came on the market, I think everything since is using the new Dicodes cap, same design as what the Pipeline had been using.
