They obviously have logged a lot of hours. In my youth, I loved them, now I am too old, to slow, too chicken. I have looked at the Can-Am three wheelers, I regress to training wheels.

I sold a full-dresser because of age and bad back. Thinking about a Vespa.

I don’t how many motorcycle people we have here, but this is big news.

Zack and Ari are back:

After disappearing behind the Motor Trend paywall for a considerable time period, they are now out in the wilds of the internet again.

These guys are the best thing in motorcycle journalism, with a winning mix of technical acumen, and good natured fun.

Run free Boys!

Seriously, they are worth watching, even if you don’t follow this sort of thing.

That was fun to watch, them two were pushing it on where they rode those bikes! I like watching some MC vids, brings back memories. I was an avid motorcyclist for many years and would ride about 30K a year or so when living in New Hampshire. Every summer I'd take a couple cycle/camping trips, loved riding up to Nova Scotia for a week or so. Nowadays I'm happy with riding my bicycles...

Motorcycles were only fun for me if there was more than one. My roommate and I would ride 2 hours to the Niagara Falls border and tool around NY. Have a coffee, and ride back home. One fall we did a weekend trip just to see the changing colors. Up to the very end of what is/was the longest street (Yonge St.) in the world to a tiny town called Mattawa, ended up in Quebec at Meech Lake, then back. Great times :thumb:

I have been hearing a butchered version of this in a commercial lately, it kind of ticks me off.

    Thanks, that was great.
I've always been fascinated by drummers. Mick is great with his open mouthed passion. But, I've never understood how these guys can keep hitting those drums for hours, with often scrawny arms. Seems like they'd be muscle men.
My younger son was in a band years ago, playing guitar. I went to see his concert in his school, and was stunned when he moved over to the drums and started hitting them. He never said he was working on them. I should ask him about all this.

kas122461 Holeee! They still sound fantastic!

Not quite as famous, but these are the Barenaked Ladies. Canadian, no women but were initially banned from a New Year's Eve concert due to their name. The band founder (with the best voice) Steven Page had drug problems and has since left the band.

There is nothing like a ride, I was generally solo. One year I took a trip back home to Kansas to see my parents and sister. Not a single mile of interstate, all back roads. As you say, "great times".

Don’t think we’ll be walking in the woods anymore, we both had ticks yesterday :(

I would take a tick over poison ivy I think.

I am headed back (hopefully) into the land of poison ivy. I never got ticked (that I know of) but like, I have gotten multiple poison ivy-ings an I HATE them. I am one of those "super-reactors." If I get it, I am going to be on high dose steroids, and per the doctors like it can travel through your blood stream if you are allergic and so if I get some on my left pinky toe, I am done for.

I used to hate hiking because one time the big dog got a bunch of poison ivy ON her (she as fine, apparently) I and I was on steroids for a month. That is the ONE time I have true gratitude for steroids, because poison ivy SUCKS.

Oh well, no scorpion, no falling and rolling into a cholla bush, no snakes, I guess everything has something. I do realize EVERYWHERE has snake but man.

Oh well no big dog to do that to me I got really neurotic about it, like I'd make the husband wash her before we got in the car, and on our honeymoon if it was woodsy we'd (well I) would tie her up because she loved to roam (an people loved her) but she always came back.

Same here, I have a major reaction. I go to a free standing doc in a box, get my shot and my dose pack.

I laugh at Poison Ivy. I'm impervious to it. I realized as a kid, and have picked the leaves and rubbed them with no effect. I was playing Golf with my buddies, hit a beautiful draw (as if I ever hit a draw or hook) right into the bushes. So when I reach the spot there's a sign "Warning Poison Ivy" . It was a relative gold mine for me, about 50 balls found in no time. :D

Poison ivy is really annoying. But then I found out about poison oak. I guess that everybody's chemistry might be different but that stuff was weaponized poison ivy for me. Lasted for months even with doctor treatment, and even left scars/change in skin color.

The worst part is that i was not a stranger to the outdoors. I grew up on what had been the family farm for generations and had acres of woods to roam. Of course I played with beetles, sniffed plants that had different smells, knew which tree the cicadas liked. and even tried to smoke a catalpa "cigar".

But somehow poison oak stayed away from there. I was in my 30s when I decided to clear a bit more of the stuff on the edge of the lawn in my new location. That same property introduced me to hornets that lived in the ground and that was just as bad an experience though not as long lasting.

Ooooh I hate copperheads and rattlers in general and like, just NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

I am a woman with an irrational fear of snakes of ALL KINDS.

The worst was in Baltimore actually these two giant (harmless) black snakes were like waking from their torpor but of course the kid loved them so I couldn't like exit to my front porch really. They'd be hanging from the trees all docile or laying along my front steps. I had to man up and FIND a way past them like, for the day. I guess it got my blood going for the day too which I NOW need to do, and finish up like, my background check packet and etc.

    Oy.
