Susanna Hoffs, proving that a Rickenbacker is the fountain of youth. She was 60 when they performed this.

Same age as >

Once again, I lose over a month of posts since I stopped getting email notices. It's not easy to find this place without a link. And I am much too slow in realizing things have gone silent.

So anyhow, lots of emojis for old posts, but I simply have to comment on the Watchtower thing way back up the thread. I was stunned. Jimi doing that song may be my #1 of all time. I say "may" because it would hurt my brain to sit down, assess the candidates, and make a decision.

I can't say the version was better, since Jimi's mastery of making his guitar talk was absent. But I was amazed at the sounds added which made this version special. A blues harp? Organ? Who woulda thought. The Nevilles were impressive, but the real star was the guitar player from Zimbabwe. Wear headphones, and he will be in your right ear from just after the early moments. Not flashy, not overpowering, but absolutely is one of the best I've heard. Moral: there are supremely talented musicians all over the world who we've never heard of.

The new software and I have never got along. I looked at every logical option tree, and do not see a way to do that. How do you go about doing that?
I did mine so long ago, I don't remember, I am using the Chrome browser, and just put in ECFs url in the settings of the browser settings I think.
KAS

In settings under appearance you can change your home page, could most likely do that with any browser.

Nice to see you, stranger. :D

One easy way is to click the Forums then New Posts options from the menus at the top. This thread is almost always on either Page 1 or Page 2.

OR, your notifications bell might show recent activity too.

If you wish ECF to be your home page, click the three dots at the top right of Chrome, then select Settings.

From there, On Startup.

I think it's kinda self-explanatory, but I'm pretty sure you know how to find me if you need a walk-through.

On ECF with the new version of forum software you can setup "Watched forums". On ECF's main page the forums you are watching are displayed at the top. Like so:

You can't setup this thread as watched. I setup The Lounge as a watched forum.

At the top of The Lounge page click on "Follow". Then it will show up on your main page as "Watched".

Alternatively, just create bookmarks for your favorite ECF pages in your web browser.
