Lets us look both ways
This Christmas story is for the memory of Glenn, wherever he may be. We miss ya, @gnees, and hope you're well.

The Radii use flat-top batteries.Loaded up the radius this evening for a nice relaxing vape.
Couldn't remember if it took a button top or flat top battery.
Inserted a flat top because for one thing, I no longer have any 18650 button top batteries.
The buttons all lit up and cycled through the colors and I thought IT'S ALIVE WOooHOoo
Then, I noticed no OLED display. Well heck was my next thought.
I went into a completely dark (scary) room and found the display lit but very VERY dim.
Tried cycling through the display brightness adjustments and no change.
Vape is fine, display is dim. So since I can't normally see the display, I locked the - + buttons.

I remember hearing that the screens can fade over time, but had hoped it would be a really L-O-N-G time. I've got several in current use, and so far they are all working like the day I got them.In settings, I cycled through the display brightness settings but changes have no effect.
I tried three different batteries too. Display is very dim and won't change.
I read somewhere that those old OLED display screens go dim over time, even if only stored.
I hadn't fired up that Radius in years. Last time I used it, the display was nice and bright.
