The only (minor) thing about the mini: In hand, I prefer the higher fire button position of the Classic and P3
I took The Ocelots advice and went to a golf grip using the knuckle of my thumb to fire them, I've got really large hands and it's a very comfy grip that way.

cincinnati, oh
I don't think goetta exists in Florida. It's a Cinti institution. You know what I miss the most…Findley Market and Graeter's!
I'm sure you're right about the goetta. I have an aunt down there that has a local market get her the pin oats, so that she can make it. I don't get to Findlay market nearly as often as I'd like to, and love me some graeter's ice cream!

Double chocolate chip or rasberry chocoloate chip! And their peach in July! Heaven...

If anyone here is ever somewhere where they sell Graeter's you have to try it. It's an experience. It's made by hand the old fashioned way with heavy cream. Nothing skinny in this ice-cream!

Pretty sure that's the brand sold at the dragstrip in Norwalk, Ohio. Adding to the fun is that their standard price is $1 a pound.

I have spectrum. I connect directly via ethernet cable and get 118 mbps download. Supposedly there is a package with even a faster speed. WiFi reduces to around 35 - 40 mbps.

Yeah - I've got a 200 mpbs package. It impacts the one computer in my home that's never used. I had hoped the powerline adapter might carry it, but it doesn't.

It's all of an extra $5 per month, and I COULD move the modem, I guess.

(sigh - that's "work")

Yeah, you can only achieve those speeds by direct wiring. BTW, I bought my own modem and took their $10/month rental back.

I have only 10Mpbs ADSL with CenturyLink. On my June bill I noticed the package price for internet and phone had gone up $5 and called to see why. Turns out I was on a 5 year lock-in pricing plan that just expired. After a pleasant conversation I was able to get a lifetime lock-in price where I'm at right now in pricing ... as well as ... a technician will be out Monday to install VDSL at up to 25Mbps with no price increase from the lifetime locked in price. I'm the only one that lives here, so that should be plenty of Mbps to run everything I have ... maybe not all at once. Based on my current hardware configuration, I don't expect a loss of Mbps on WiFi via DSL ... but for VDSL I'll have to get a new modem of course. Selected a Netgear modem/router to replace my rock solid Motorola that isn't VDSL compatible.

Incidentally, a Spectrum tech was installing for a new neighbor next door this morning and I had some questions for him. Spectrum has an intro offer of up to 60Mbps and I'd heard that in reality the 60Mbps was a neighborhood shared speed and my actual speed would vary depending on how many were using the internet in the neighborhood at a given time. The tech said that wasn't true. I'd be getting the whole up to 60Mbps. Actual speed through ethernet should be about 50+/-Mbps with around 30Mbps WiFi. I asked his recommendation for a modem as I wouldn't want to rent one and he said he'd get a Arris Surfboard modem. I then explained I was a cord cutter and was it possible to get JUST internet from Spectrum and he said yes it was. Ending the conversation he said that honestly all I needed was 25Mbps to run anything I had ... which is a computer, laptop, Roku TV and Kindle ... which are never run all at the same time. Anything above that for a single user like myself is just bragging rights I guess.

... then I called CenturyLink. They obviously didn't want to lose a good customer and made me a deal I couldn't refuse. And STILL ... I'm not in a contract with CenturyLink, price is locked in for life unless I change or add services ... and I can terminate at any time and give Spectrum a try. I'm calling it a good day with a WIN !!! ... well, after Monday when the tech comes out we'll see though.
