For those of you who use No-Ox on your ProVari's - When/if you decide to put it away for long term storage, do you store it with No-Ox on the threads or do you put it away clean? Have you noticed if the No-Ox stays moist on the threads while being stored or does it get dry and crusty?

Thank you! - Will double post in devices

I clean everything before storing outside of my immediate reach stand, but I keep a bunch in the stand all greased up and ready. I haven't had any problems with crusting No-ox). Even with Nolax I would just clean if dried out.

I think you'll be OK either way but I prefer clean storage.

Thanks, Mr. "Double Penetration, Deep Purple Longo22! I had 6 on the stand at the ready and those all have the No-Ox. I got a new stand that will hold more and decided to get them out to display and use at will. I think I will keep them clean until use. The ones with the No-Ox I think will get cleaned for storage after/if used.

I wasn't quite sure what I was going to do so hearing what others think is a good thing and why I became a member of this forum in the first place.

So, again, thank you DP and don't anyone else be shy!

What do you mean? Stored the ones they were keeping there for use? None of the ones I purchased came with it.
They all should have according to the ProVape Factory Tour Video.

It was the last step prior to final boxing.

Hey, I scoured both videos and couldn't find. Maybe looking at wrong video? I scanned the PBusardo ones. Going to bed now. It's not that big of deal. I don't think I'll lose any sleep, about to find out...

I haven't seen any of mine dry out yet.
And I've had it on a couple Mechs that have sat unused for 2 or more years.
I never used a whole lot of No-Ox on my mods. I can put a tiny drop on a bottom cap and screw that same cap on & off 4 or 5 different ProVari's and then run a dry rag across all the threads and still have to much on them for my liking
I never had a problem keeping it on my threads, it was getting it back off that was the hard part
I put some on my main 2.5 one time, and I used it everyday for over 2 years. I bet I would wipe the threads off with a dry paper towel 3 or 4 times a week and till this day, 3 1/2 years later, there's still some on there and it's wet
But anyways, that stuff is made to be used in electrical boxes that are outdoors, meaning extreme hot & cold temperatures. So I would guess it would have no problem lasting years indoors. :)
