How you been GG? Still runnin that bike to the red line?![]()
Glad you are still here with usDoing well and thanks for asking. No, no more riding. The bike ran ME to the red line and a hospital stay made my life take a different direction. It's been a while now so things are back to normal, at least normal for me.
When ProVape shut down I somehow lost track of this thread and only recently found out that most of the cast were still here. Who says you can't go home again?
Glad you are still here with usI rode for many years, crashed a couple times, one time I T-boned a Mustang in Southie, Boston... Last second before impact I launched myself off the foot pegs and did a nice spriral through the air till I landed skidding on the tar. Didn't ride for a bout ten years after that one... Memories of having my road rash scrubbed gave me bad dreams...sold all my bikes before moving south to clean up my debt, had three at the time. Sometimes I miss it, but then I look at how crazy traffic is around where I now live. It's nice to see you pop back in here.

As much as I loved to ride, it was hard to quit. I had the accident in March and during rehab I promised myself I would be on my other bike by Labor Day. I made the deadline, but after a few rides I came to the same conclusion you did - it just wasn't the same.
My wreck had to do with a forest's hill, melting snow runoff, cinders that still remained, and a corner that got sharper as you went through it. I also did acrobatics over the handlebars, but it was because the beast had gone into some vicious tailwagging and simply pitched me off. I landed on my shoulder which pretty much demolished it.
I got laughed at by a lot of the guys around here since I was a insufferable safety geek. I ruined about $800 worth of leather and helmet but did not even get a scratch. I do miss the sensation of acceleration and speed a whole lot, but there's just no way these days to experience it so I'll just remember the good times.
And don't heal as quick as I once used toI miss it so but my riding days are over. As someone once said," I am too old, too slow, and too chicken."
I don't mind it either except this ad did not allow closure when it was initially released. I see it has been fixed.Doesn't bother me a lick to x it out each time I log in.
It's a simple click of the mouse.
It sounds like they also need to make the ads resize down for phone users as they dominate the screen. On a PC, not so much.I don't mind it either except this ad did not allow closure when it was initially released. I see it has been fixed.
You could be right. I use both laptop and phone but had not been on the phone to see the ad. It was bad enough on the laptop. It sounds like they also need to make the ads resize down for phone users as they dominate the screen. On a PC, not so much.
Poor Oliver. A blundered ad shows up and we lynch the poor guy.Hopefully this popup and the last one are helping Oliver refine the technique for the future so they are manageable/closable right out of the gate.
