I don't know if this will help, Opi, but this is a KF2+. You can see where I fill it to, and how mine are wicked. That wick's been in there for about a week, so excuse the, "It ain't pretty" aspect.

I'm using 3.0 diameter pre-made coils, for whatever that's worth. I truly hope it helps you some!

Don't give up. Once you get it, you'll be fine. Failure breeds success, time over time.

Your coil seems to sit higher than I've been doing mine.. it's hard to tell.. but it seems higher for some reason..

I'm so frustrated.. I don't think I will ever be able to build my own coils and use RTA's..

I have just spent the last two hours trying to do this kayfun 4.. got the coil perfect everything was right and again, (like always) after a few minutes of vaping it begins flooding..

I seriously just want to cry.. same thing with the kayfun lite plus v2.. just floods.. every time..

I wish I was not technologically challenged..

I personally did not like the v4, but the KFL's I still love them. They are perfect for me, my coils look just like Mr DPL's above. Flooding is usually a wicking problem I think.

If you have the coil too close to the deck it can leak out the air hole, also make sure the 0-ring in the top cap has not come loose, it holds the vacuum in the tank, without it it will also flood, then leak.

Well.. maybe my coil is too small.. I think I'm going to try making them bigger, as far as what I'm wrapping them around..

Everyone uses a drill bit, and I don't have one so I've been using the little blue handled screw driver thing they give you with the kits..

Perhaps that is just too small, and it's creating wicking issues.. his coil just looks bigger.

Opi, you might want to get a koil jig. My opinionated opinion (anything funny there?) is that there is not enuf wick in your coil. That's a first impression opinion tho. :)

For a koil jig, discount vapers might be an option. I'm sure someone can link to it.

Thanks, Kat.

You've got an extra comma in there, prolly by accident.

Not an Oxfordian slip, darling.

Yeah for the longest time I was using a 7/64" drill bit then just recently I went up one size to an 1/8" I think. I love it, it vapes even better than it used too. I hope you figure it out, they are worth it, once you get it right.

I have never had a problem with the Kayfun Lite V2+

Seven wraps of 30ga on the little blue screwdriver is my perfect 1.7ohms ... been making the same coil for over 3 years.

I bought 9 used authentics and they have all been flawless. I also have 4 brand new still in boxes that I've been tempted to try ... however, like ProVaris, they most likely vape the same as the used ones.

I have a coil master but it doesn't work well with 30g wire. It's fine with 28g but I don't like 28.
I still use the drill bit! [emoji51]
