The lack of 18350 button tops was the reason I sold over 20 of my ProVari Vapocalypse stash... I think I still have 15 of them and only a few are brand new.
My answer to the battery situation was to grab 5 of these and go daddy long legs with the 18650s.
Still on course to be vaping a ProVari/kayfun for the next 50 years.

Is the provari repairman still active?
Knowing me, I'm probably late for the party but I wanted to get a couple of my minis converted to the P3 top. They're still being finicky with my Primes and I'm getting aggravated. I sent him an email, doesn't hurt to try!
I am not sure, but I think I read that he is still doing it part time, and that he had to get a regular job. I think I read he works for microsoft.

I don't know if this is of any value, but my personal experience is that the P3 tops are more likely to be finicky than the beveled ones. I've got some atties that won't connect to some P3 tops, but I've never missed one with the older style.

My primes won’t work on the beveled tops when they have a beauty ring in place. I have two with P3 tops and they work just fine on them. They work on my box mods but they have floating pins, lol!

Gotcha. Yes - same problem sometimes with the ring things. As Phil once (now so famously) said, "Now, I get it."

IMHO, the P3 top is a step down from the original ProVari... looks nice but will never outlast the beveled tops of the v2.0 or v2.5
