DP, third experiment of four is done. Here are the results so far each experiment included two days rest without use.

Power On (no atomizer): No battery drain
Power Off (no atomizer): No battery drain
Power On (w/atomizer): No battery drain
Power Off (w/atomizer): In process, results on Thursday

I'm not expecting battery drain on the fourth experiment either. So that means if I'm getting excessive battery drain it will likely be while the P2 is actually being used or the battery is really bad. I suspect the latter but I want to prove it first.

:thumb: You rock, @Bronze -THANK YOU, SIR!

Hey Eddard - always nice...:)

ProVape/Provarinati collaboration - Help pick a new design!

AWESOME (thanks, @Katdarling)!!!

It was great to watch transpire too. Uncharacteristically quiet, but BOY DID WE STOCK UP ON 'EM afterwards!

Thanks to all who contributed. I enjoyed the luxury of simply being a beneficiary. :vapor:

It's proceeding. Nothing great, nothing bad. You? What are you riding these days?
Lots and lots of riding.....Well, less since it's winter, but it's been a warm winter.

I've got a Yamaha R6 and a Yamaha FZ-07. I've posted a pic here before, but I think it got moderated out cuz it was off topic, ya know.

I'll try again. Here are my girls.

I balance safety and fun as best I can.

I had a safe riding year last year, though. Neither of those bikes went down, and I rode them in Tennessee, North Carolina, West Virginia, and Virginia. It was terrific.

That R6 is kinda painful to my 47 year old body on long trips, though.

stop rubbing it in.
First you corral the market and get every last Provarinati end cap, and now the last hat.
I may as well just send you my Ti P3 (keeping the end cap) so you have some use for the caps. Wear the hat in good health!

Actually the ProVarinati caps were still on special for a month after I bought mine ... I was surprised they didn't sell out faster.

The $5 Made in USA VapeProVari hats were an awesome deal ... bought 5 of them.

The #VapeProVari T-shirts I missed out on.

DP, no battery drain no matter if the Provari is turned on or off or if there is an atomizer attached or not. I'm really beginning to think the battery I am using is shot. I just received some new batteries so I will vape with them and compare to the battery I used in the experiment. I'm beginning to think the excessive battery drain I was experiencing in my P2 was due to the battery. The battery is 28 months old but has very little use on it. Maybe 50 charges at the very most. Perhaps age has as much to do with battery deterioration as does the number of times it has been recharged.

Yes, the batteries we use for vaping degrade over time whether used or not.
They degrade slightly slower if stored unused near nominal capacity 3.5v ~ 3.8v.
I'm thinking 1.5 - 2.0 years is about it based on three sets of batteries I have here. And that may depend on how long the vendor had these batteries sitting on their shelves. I buy from RTD who does a big volume so I'm guessing they dont sit around very long.

I'm thinking these batteries may not be as consistent as we'd like to believe. I've got three year old batteries still going as good as new and others have croaked after 8 or 9 months. All of these were either AW's or VCT 4's and 5's from RTD. All were used about the same way and charged with the same charger.

The Deeming Sweater is FINALLY done. All of the stocking up last summer kind of put this dude on the back burner. I finally finished it last night.

Of course, we are going to be pushing 70 for a while.

I'm a knitter too! Great work!
When I lived up north I knitted a lot more than now. Not much use for sweaters, scarves, etc down here. My friends are happy…i keep knitting stuff for them.
