This takes you most of the way....This is why I make my own home made pizza. We don't have any good pizza places here, and even without a brick oven my pizza puts chains to shame.
I do have dreams of getting a brick oven, but I'm sure they will just stay dreams. Lol.

Great for bread too.
Do you make your dough by hand or with a breadmaker?I already have one of those.. they are nice. Your right about it being good for some breads as well, I faithfully use it for making my pita bread as well as some artisan breads that I make.

That's the way to do it. Kneading is for the young.By hand. I cheat only in that I have a kitchenaid professional stand mixer that I let do most of the kneading..

Kitcheaide products are funny. I have an older Kitchenaide stove/oven. The thing is built like a battleship. Will probably last forever. Very high quality stuff. But the drawer on the bottom is as cheap as it gets. Thin gauge, wobbly steel. I have some Kitchenaide kitchen utensils. Same thing. Great utensils but they find something to cheapen it. Handle inserts fall off (it's just cosmetic). Water works their way inside the spatula handles and then it leaks out into a pan of frying bacon. Etc...Hahaha! Truer words have not been spoken!

Very true. I always use a lawn sprinkler as an example. My Dad used a lawn sprinkler when I was a kid growing up in the 60's. He used that thing until he died in 1993. Never failed him. There is no way today that you could find a lawn sprinkler anywhere for any price that will last that long. People largely buy on price these days. Quality, durability, and reliability are lower priorities. I understand for rapidly advancing products like computers. Who wants to pay twice the price for a computer that lasts 20 years? It's obsolete after 5. But a lawn sprinkler?I think that's true for more than just kitchenaid.. I always go by how solid things feel, and recently I needed to replace a cookie dough scoop, and I found a beautiful solid stainless steel well constructed scoop.... Got it home and was making cookies, in the middle of the first batch the thing broke.. I was so mad, as I spent good money for a supposedly good scoop. There is something cheaply done on so many things!

A little off topic here but have you noticed products you buy at the supermarket are getting smaller (for the same price)? Two quart cartons of orange juice are 59 ounces now. Coffee, bar soap, ding dongs, fig newtons, name it. They're all smaller for the same price.I think manufacturers do this purposefully though. I think they found out if a refrigerator lasted 30 years, then people would not replace them for the newer models. As you said, we cannot find anything, for any price, of the same quality as could once be purchased. Now, it's forced consumerism by producing lesser quality products which forces people to make a purchase more frequently.
But that's just my analysis, it might also be a combination of people not wanting to save for a few years in order to purchase a quality product. Now, people want everything today, and don't do the saving up for that perfect thing I was raised to do.
Illegal immigrants are getting more rights than US citizens. Commit a crime in a sanctuary city as a US citizen versus an illegal alien and see who has a better chance of staying out of prison.Ireland prisoners now have more vape rights then most Free States in America
Inmates in Irish prisons will soon have access to e-cigarettes
