Nice to see something in a NY paper that isn't negative for a change.
Good morning everyone! So.. back at Christmas time I gave my son a couple vaping set-ups for him to try, and he backed off the smoking some, cut his smoking in half - but what I gave him was not fulfilling I guess..
He mentioned a couple weeks ago that he might like to try one of the bigger sub ohm/temp control mods when he got his taxes back.. well, then I found a wismec rx200 on clearance for 20.00, so I bought it along with a tank (and batteries for it etc) for him to try, (and to save him some cash since I love him) and so he called me and says he just LOVES it! Not only that,but hasn't been smoking since he got it all! :=
Woohoo! He was all.. "who knew vaping could be this awesome!" And he's just so happy with vaping and his mod... he's been online learning and now is saying hes wanting to build his own coils and talking about all this stuff (gosh he caught on quick to the technical aspects! Lol) he has it down.. lol..
I'm so happy.. we have one less smoker in the family! And what's awesome.. is that he wasn't even interested in quitting! He's all saying what flavors he likes and what flavors he wants to try.. lol..
I'm a happy mom, of a 33 year old ex-smoker! Hahaha..
(And I know this is off topic as this is a provari thread.. but I had to tell someone who would understand the joy!.. lol)
I can breathe a sigh of relief.. ha.. and better, now his vaping habit is his own problem as he knows what he likes and what suits him.. hahaha..

awesome news ... this is not just a ProVari thread, the "and Beyond" covers anything and everything.
Just keep talking to her and keep trying.. I just kept giving mine various things and trying to discern from talking to him what might be best for him personally until we found his happy place..
But there is hope it can be done.. my son literally did not want to quit smoking, told me I was crazy for liking vaping and swearing vaping would never help him.. lol..
The success I had therefore, is all the more sweeter.. don't tell me "can't" or "won't".. hahaha..
You will get there with her.. some day! There are literally too many choices right now not to find her something!
Soooooooooooooo...I bought some goodies in the classies last week, and among them was a Zen Atty Pro minus glass and a drip tip. I've been poking around ECF and the internet to try to learn more about it and see what I would need to turn the metal into something to vape on. So far, it looks like it is pretty old school and the threads are locked for new posting. I would like to try to get this to work, but there is so much I don't know about it that I'm not positive what to start with.
I found the Fused Quartz Glass Replacement Tank (Fits Kabuki, Mini, & Rokkaku) store that seems to be the last place to get parts, but I'm not sure what all will fit this. Does it really work with anything Kabuki? If I want the purty OMG rings, will they work on this one too? Will any drip tip work, or do I need to get one of the ones on ZFO?
