You probably missed my question but how did that purple P with the cat on it happen?
I started begging for something purple soon after I got my first mini. It wasn't too long after that that ProVape came out with the purple 2.5, but I didn't like the shade. I wanted a dark, grape juice purple. I figured it probably wouldn't happen, so I mainly pleaded for a purple LED. This was back in the old ProVari forum, so it appears ProVape was unaware of my request.
When the ProVari forum closed down and we moved to the ProVape forum the company started interacting with us and got to know us as individuals. I began to step-up my game.

I decided that purple ZenKote was the answer.

Perhaps I was bordering on harassment.

Actually, it's pretty hard. I didn't know how complicated and expensive ZenKote is to produce.*
Out of the blue I got a message from Monster Kenny saying that they had noticed my requests for a purple ZenKote and had a sample P3 Zen had made for them. They had decided the color was too close to Gun Metal Grey ZenKote, so they weren't going to carry it. He didn't send a picture, so I had no idea what shade it really was, but of course I wanted it. I later got a message from Dave saying that it wasn't a P3. He said it was a Classic with a P3 board in it, but he could switch it to a Classic board if I wanted. I responded that he could put a Monopoly board in it for all I cared, as long as it was purple. He liked that, but asked me not to reveal that the boards were interchangeable, since they didn't want people to request custom combos. I imagine that doesn't matter anymore. The Princess has a v3.8 P3 board.
Since Kenny had described the color as, "very similar to the Gun Metal Grey Zenkote finish but it does have a purple tint." I was floored when it arrived and turned out to be so close to what I had created. Notably, the color was originally called "Byzantium ZenKote," but if you go to the House of Hybrids site you will see that Zen renamed it 'Princess ZenKote." i haz a feels special.

As for the "cat," it's just a reflection. There is no cat. Just like there is no ocelot or paw print on my Reo Woodvil.

Thank you for sharing this story. This purple is stunning! And you have the only such P ever created. WOW!!!!!
I would have emerged out of lurker-dom 3 hours earlier but I got caught up in HyperNormalisation.
Thanks Ocelot, lots of food for thought.
I always end up thanking Ocelot for things like my first Provari, I followed a link she posted and ended up on Vapor Force to buy a blue V2 from the president of the company.
I still have her and she is in just as pristine a condition as she was then.
I did have to grin at the gasps seeing the prices on ebay, the peeps that bought Provaris before the great sale off will remember them as normal, even a little less then that.
I got lucky I found the old Provari forum when I did and went straight from the Ego to Provari. That saved me a load of money.
I did buy one cheap mod tho, when the box mod craze started I bought one IPV4 used it a couple of times and stuck it on the shelf. The other night I took it down thinking to use it, it died in its sleep.Grabbed my V1 chrome Provari which is years older and rested for an equal amount of time, she fired right up.
Ya can't go wrong with a Provari even if ya have ta pay a bit more then close out prices.
The Chrome Black V2 I traded away is pictured between the Satin Black and Blue Mini V2's. It's the only pic I have of it.

Ummm, I don't know.... That Purple Zenkote is really something to brag about. The one I have can probably be reproduced with paint remover...I think you got the better deal.
