@stols001 ... Take a look at how this guy mounts a coil on the Pico. The Pico fundamentally reminds me of the Doggystyle deck mounting screws. The way he does it looks like it would position and stabilize the coil, especially helping those with shaky hands or tremors the way he temporarily wraps the wire back around the jig. Just a thought, maybe something to try ...

That's what I do with my coiling :)
Sure makes life easier !!!

Hello folks.
I’ve been lurking for a while here. I was hesitant to join in, as I only have one Provari.
However, I saw many familiar faces, so I thought I’d stop in a say hello.
I may only have one, but it’s in use every day.

Happy to be... Not Smoking!!!
Felt a lil funny getting vape mail today, my P3/ 510 adaptors came in. I'm glad I grabbed a few for my parts bin for piece of mind, but it felt a little sad at the same time.
You’ll feel better when you can sell one or two on the bay for fitty bucks each!!!

LOLz

I have one of those P3/510 adapters ... one. Liked to have never gotten it back off the tank without damage. I think that issue has been mentioned already. I will only use it again as a last resort. I'd just about as soon just go ahead and use a Nautilus tank. I hope to never use the adapter again ... but I have one.

Are you talking about the ProVari top cap piece?

LoL. it's ok :) I never had any problems with them Kabuki 510 adapters, maybe you got one with rough threads? I did mod a couple of those adding longer center pins in them though...

Dunno, maybe I over tightened EVERYTHING worrying about the center pin poking up and into the Nautilus coil and breaking the coil/Kabuki bottom seal and leaking a bit between the Kabuki/adapter or something. Like I said, I'll just as soon go ahead and revert back to a Nautilus tank (with a spring between the coil and bottom center pin) before I use the dang thing again on a Kabuki. The Kabuki and adapter threaded together like butter but after some use ... they became rather stuck to each other. Once loosened ... the butter thing again though.

EDIT: Would have been nice if HoH had knurled the outside of that adapter I posted.

I had a horrible scare this morning.
Went to refill the tank on my mini dragon...
Decided to give it a new wick.
All done, filled up and back together...

E1 !!

What ??

Remove tank, look at things, all looks fine.
Put it back together.

E1 !

Pulled and replaced battery several times...

E1 !

Put tank on another ProVari...works fine. Put that tank on dragon...

E1 !

Ohmagosh...what the heck ??

Got out the alcohol and q-tips, cleaned everything, ran battery nipple across paper...
Put it back together...

E1 !

I'm thinking oh-noooooooo.

I set it aside and walked away from it.
Went back about 20 minutes later and went through everything all over again...

E1 !

So close to crying

I don't know WHAT made me decide to run through the menu...

How the hell did that thing get set at 5.9 ?
I keep it at 3.3 !

All good now :)

shew !
That was stressful !

... maybe I should have screwed the adapter onto the mod ... THEN attached the Kabuki ... instead of screwing the Kabuki and adapter together and then onto the mod. If I ever get to a last resort ... maybe I'll give that a try.
