Dyer's has this to say about their leather ...
"Carl Dyer’s Original Moccasins are crafted from the finest available leather. The hides used in our World Famous Leather moccasins are from Swiss dairy cattle, 16-18 years old. Wearing them now. Just so dang comfortable !!! ... they're soft soled but these are NOT the moccasins I had as a kid LOL
Mostly Dyer's caters to the re-enactor and rendezvous folks. Their boots and mocs are top notch. Many styles, period correct for their customers seasonal hobbies. Highly recommend ... if you can get in line for 'em.
Sadly my 10 year old Buffalo (prolly water buffalo) Dr. Martens need some attention. I wear them most everyday piddling around outside, cutting grass etc. Won't take long to clean 'em nicely ... but how do you ever wear out a pair of Dr. Martens ?!?!?! ... that may take a while longer ~~~
