Why do people do that :(
Poor Kirk at 100 yrs old reads in the paper that he died
Happens to us all, Fringe, happens to us all....

EDIT: Not that we all have read in the paper we died , rather, being fooled by something we read on the internet.

Welp, got a picture in the newspaper without it being my obituary.......That's a plus....'cept that's the BEST the photographer could do. Needless to say, she doesn't Photoshop.......(sigh) :p

Thank you all for your cheerful responses.

Don't sell that mod short, Chooch. I agree that it's not the best angle for viewing, but it still looks great (and I absolutely love the color).

Besides, next to those eyes, most won't even notice it. :)

Kudos to the NY Times too (you won't hear me say that very often) for what appears to be an unbiased article, and one intended to prompt that ancient-but-not-yet-extinct concept of "Thinking."

For better representation (on all sides of the camera), we could not ask. Thank YOU. :thumb:

Wow, thank you, DPLongo. That mod is a VaporShark 30 rdna purchased 3 years ago dressed in her orange skin.......The black Radius wouldn't show as well per the photographer. Was hoping the red eyes from poking them with the mascara brush wouldn't show so much. Photog said not to worry as red room would blend them right in.

Kept the reporter on the phone for well over an hour and we emailed to clear up some points. Very frustrating to try to cram everything I've researched and learned here into a limited time frame, but Paula Span did a fine job sorting everything out with an even hand for a short article. She did say that she learned quite a bit and was totally unaware of the massive taxes on cigarettes raked in by the individual states as well as the feds. However, being a non smoker, how would she know? It could of also helped that she's an experienced 67 year old "been there, done that" sort of person.

Idunno, but I don't want to push envelopes any further than I've already done. I'm still in debt a few chits, I believe.

The thing/place to remain unspoken of is to what I refer (think about it).

Think of places Turf might like. ;)

You could use a vacation, couldn't 'ya?

should i get a used provari 2.5?
i know it's in volts, but can it get to a 12watts setting with 1.4 to 1.8 ohms coils?
does it do well with 18650 batteries(with an extension off-course).
are they considered reliable/long lasting?(i guess they do - I've seen your collections),it's just that i'm not sure about it's condition.

i wonder what would be the max wattage for those kind of resistances(1.4-1.8).
and does it have a 'fire lock option' so it wont fire in my bag?
You'll have to do the math, but they will give you 14.5 watts and 3.5 amps, if either one is hit you'll get an error code, but at those resistances you should be fine. Yes, they are that durable and that good :)

Today it's a harder call than previously when ProVape was still in business...I wouldn't hesitate back in the day to buy one in any condition, because I knew no matter what, I could get it restored to like new condition, oftentimes, without a charge...with ProVape gone, they are still a pretty good bet to buy used, but if there is a problem, you are stuck relying on some guy named Bill who repairs them as he can, it is what it is.

Fire lock option, 9 clicks, you'll see PO (power on/off) on the screen, wait a second and it will show ON or OF, one click to change it to the other, and wait till screen goes off. Repeat to turn back on...

that's a lot of clicks..
the thing is that when at work,i take a few puffs and put it back in my bag each time and then I'm off to some turbulent activities.

Is it just thrown in there, are even somewhat stabilized? They don't fire easily. I used to throw mine into front pants pockets, and they really didn't fire much at all (if ever).

I don't carry mine to work anymore, but when I did I never turned it off. I never had a problem of it firing in my pocket. The radius is what goes with me now. My :2c:

Maybe something to think about...volts up- 5 clicks
Volts down-7 clicks
PO-9 clicks
Check battery - 11 clicks
Check ohms- 13 clicks
LED on/off 15 clicks

That being said, it's easy to get used to the old menu, and if your a set it and forget it kinda person, you'll probably not be in the menu all that often...but if clicking a button a bunch of times bugs you, then perhaps the Classic or P3 is the better mod to pursue. You really have to drive one for a little bit to appreciate them...

thanks for the shorten manual.
many clicks sure bothers me a bit, especially not wanting to stress/overuse the button, but i won't be using the menu to often i guess as I'm always on 12W and don't really care about the info(battery level could be useful at first).
as for the p3 or classic;i wouldn't usually look into tube mods, but i saw a good deal on the 2.5.

so 18650 should be button top, what about 18500 and the regular one(i don't even know which one is it)?
