I just PM'ed Zen on FB, perhaps we can put this to rest when he responds...

@ENAUD Thanks! I'm attempting to decompile the program code to see where it calls the firmware from out of curiosity, though not sure if I can yet.

@stols001 I managed to dig up their old update page if anyone is curious to see the final update notes. Confirm your age and scroll down for the radius and P3. ProVari Software Upgrades

That's the link I copied and pasted the text from a while back in here, I believe that link is the last crawl done that had that info from the ProVape site...

I have 2 40 watt, and 2 60 watt radius's. When I bought them, they had the version right before the one with coil control, which I have no interest in. They also have never been above 9 watts. :|

I think coil control was ProVape's worst failure.

I just now got a reply from Zen, the upgrades server is still on line as of right now, and in his words, " it could go offline at any moment." If anyone has Any devices they want to upgrade, they should do it ASAP.

I specifically mentioned the Radius in the convo, and that was his reply.

When they pull the plug on that server, it's game over for any updates folks.

@ENAUD
It looks like updating may still work for the Radius, as long as this web address stays online. The program hits this web address for the available firmware (while plugging in the device's product id and serial # where I put the two X's in the URL):
https://www.provapetools.com/progap...ware_list&product_id=X&device_serial_number=X

So I suppose everyone needs to update their radius while they can.

Hey, has anyone ascertained if it matters having Ver. 40cc on your Radius if not going to use coil control? Should one go back to Ver. 26? In other words, I don't plan on using coil control but have Ver. 40cc installed because I had understood all you have to do is not turn it on if not going to use it and it makes no difference in performance. Has anyone not using coil control noticed a difference in performance between Ver. 40cc and Ver. 26?
