PROJECT XA

Project XA - SourceWatch

Project XA was a long-term research project by Liggett to make a safer cigarette. Liggett spent twelve years and $15 million developing a cigarette that its research showed to be significantly less carcinogenic than its conventional cigarettes. Project XA, also known as the Palladium cigarette, incorporated palladium nitrate into tobacco, which made combustion of the tobacco more thorough and complete, resulting in smoke containing less harmful byproducts.

There is a titanium provari for sale on ebay! $299! I would give my eyeteeth for it but it's too expensive for my budget right now…hubs recently had 2 detached retina surgeries and even with insurance there is a medical bill to pay :(

PROVAPE Provari 2.5 Titanium - Blue LED ***NEAR MINT*** | eBay

I can't get the photos to zoom, but it looks like it's being sold with a standard, non-titanium cap. Of course it will still work perfectly, but for that price and coming from the original owner I'd expect it to be included. I'd doubt that one could be located today without a huge stroke of luck.

For those wondering, the 2.5 Ti battery cap still had the dots around the circumference, but between each dot was "ti". At least, both of mine did. And as one would expect, it was made from titanium instead of stainless.

I suppose if anyone is interested in buying it they can ask the seller for a photo of the battery cap to see if it's the originsl one. If it isn't that should leave some room for haggling over the price :).
