Drenched in sweat and splattered in paint Sunday, here. Freshened up the 1945 Blue Bottle Cottage today. Home of the diner ... and a couple of miscreants. Painted wood trim all the way around top to bottom and the concrete all round. I'm getting old. Took me 5 hours and I'm near exhaustion. But hey, if I can still go 5 hours, I'm doing okay I guess.

Websites are always under construction. Who knows maybe some knockoff brand bought it and will relaunch. Or some piece of code or something went wrong, but usually if a website is sold back to whomever, doesn't it become this spammy sort of "links to things you should actively avoid" coupled with a vague nebulous statement that "You too could own this charming domain" which like, no thank you. LOL.

You got me look them up, are they really effective? And how long do they work for? It gets really hot here to the point where I get the shakes sometimes from the heat when I have to do stuff outside.
Well, when I do use them, I change the ice packs every 2 hours. I have 7 spare sets of ice packs just in case I do use them all day for more than one day in a row. That way, when the last one used goes in the freezer, the first one is re-froze.
They work ok for me but I'm just sitting around when I'm using them. I got the idea from remembering at the chemical plant, we had ice gel vests whereas you would put the whole vest in the freezer. Those seemed to work better and were more convenient. Also, this vest utilizes Velcro to keep the packs in the vest and I hate Velcro.

Doing what? Curious minds want to know.
Lol... I'd post some old pics but it would offend the PETA people. I'd go up there for a weekend, sometimes a couple of weeks at a time and live in the woods. Eat MRE's out in the forest during the day, fresh meat over the camp fire in the evening. Sometimes drive 8 miles through the woods to the local bar out in the middle of nowhere and get to know people. Basically had a real good time. Get one with God and my firearms...and Jack Daniels. Lol You probably know our firearm deer season, a? I would go up there on 13Nov and not come back until 01Dec. I would leave in the morning when it was dark and not come back until it was dark again (unless I was successful). What I knew I couldn't fit in my freezer back home, I would give to a church in Indian River. My friends parents had property up there and because his Dad knew and helped out everyone, we could go wherever we wanted to. About 3 & 1/2 square miles of private land. It was the best of times... Thank you for asking.

^^^^^^^ Wow, that didn't work as intended. Once again, I suck. Oh well, it works and you get the idea.
Yeah, thanks. I never knew such a thing existed...I used to know w a few guys who rode motorbikes back in the day had full protection gear that had pockets in the gear for ice packs, they would pull into a convinience store, buy a bag of ice and stuff it into ziplock backs and tuck it into their pockets in the riding gear... One of these vests might be a pretty cool addition to my cycling gear, two of my bikes have racks so I can carry a liter thermos bottle and two bottle cages for on the go hydration, one of these vests might open up some really hot day riding for me...

Down in the trailer park:
Picked a bunch of jalapeño peppers and bell peppers today so grilled them with a red wine vinaigrette dressing, accompanying a marinated NY strip steak, mashed sweet tater, and snap peas steamed and drizzled with butter and soy sauce.

Took an 18 Km bike ride afterward to burn off some of these calories :)

You should post some pics. It has been my observation that they are never not offended ever about anything. LOL, sometimes they place such a high proportion of offense in the animal or human direction, I want to ask them their stance on furries. "ENCOURAGES sheep rape by the shepherd before they send their pets to be slaughtered and etc. Probably.

I do understand though, because while the PETA folks are like in a state of high offense at all times, REALLY getting them riled up is dangerous, and I probably shouldn't be posting it at all, dood, and also I think some wildlife is cool, but some of it is Fair Game, like I've known that since Bambi's mom got slaughtered and whatnot.

Thinking about it though, there is some DARK Disney which kind of makes sense and some of the early cartoons were SUPER terrifying. But I still think you should post pics. LOL.

As long as you aren't shooting bunnies ON MY PROPERTY go ahead. Unless you are my kid who is a crack shot, and once asked if he and his BB gun could go shoot a rifle. "Out of my hair for several hours" I thought. "Great idea unless he gets rattler bit," "Go, go take your phone though I said."

Less than 20 minutes he shows up with a dead rabbit and he is carrying it by the ears, while I was hastily learning how to disembowel it and what goes with "dead desert rabbit" that was a yes that I have regretted for a LONG time, man, but the kid has aim or he did anyway except for the toilet but man his aim improved swiftly when I was like, "Son, here is some comet and stuff, I'll clean the rest of it but not the toilet. That works even better than the cheerios trick which doesn't work at all. LOL.

Nice one Turf. Some of the best in the world actually. But since you have temp control and I have a feather, guess we're both tickled :)
