Was stuck in the house all day waiting on service people to show up, finally got everything done early afternoon so decided to sneak a ride in...weather was looking a lil iffy, got six miles up the trail and it started thundering pretty good...tucked my phone and wallet into a plastic bag and headed back to the car...got rained on the last half mile but not too bad. The drainage ditches in my neighborhood were all flooded and there was standing water in my yard in places I've never seen before...must have been one heckuva storm I missed, feelin lucky today :)

Salmon with Romesco Cream and Sweet Potato Hash ... Salmon's flaky, tender deliciousness can stand on its own, but just because it can doesn't mean it should. This noble Salmon is enrobed with a creamy sauce of roasted red pepper pesto, nutty Parmesan, and rich butter, a divine sauce for a delicate fish. The pan roasted sweet potato and spinach hash with grape tomatoes on the side merely augments the perfection already revealed. Bon Appetit

Was visiting my bike guys shop today, and he said do you want to play with another old wreck?... He had a Raleigh street bike hanging on the rack, I started looking the old derelict over and the frame looked good...he then pointed out the rear derailer that had got hung up in the spokes and bent the frame where the rear wheel mounts to the bike...then he pointed out the extremely rusted seat post...well, not one to shy away from a challenge I said sure, I'll take this one one home and see what it what with it. I got the seat post out of the frame, cut the chain and removed the destroyed derailer, and took a ball pein hammer and an small anvil and hammered the frame back into a relative state of where it should be...I've got them parts from the other derelict I scavenged, so it's looking like I might be able to save this old girl from the scrap heap...too soon to tell yet, but I've got time on my hands, and I like free stuff.

Hobbs this meal minus the salmon would make a winning dish for hubs and me. And me thinks that sauce would be great on it.

I just moved to a new apartment. Things are slowly getting unpacked and finding their new places.

However, one set of acrylic drawers has not shown up yet. The set of drawers that holds 12 Provari 2's and 2.5's. I feel like I've at least glanced into every box.

I'm not panicked yet. But, I am becoming concerned. I know it has to be here!

You should post some pics. It has been my observation that they are never not offended ever about anything. LOL, sometimes they place such a high proportion of offense in the animal or human direction, I want to ask them their stance on furries. "ENCOURAGES sheep rape by the shepherd before they send their pets to be slaughtered and etc. Probably.

I do understand though, because while the PETA folks are like in a state of high offense at all times, REALLY getting them riled up is dangerous, and I probably shouldn't be posting it at all, dood, and also I think some wildlife is cool, but some of it is Fair Game, like I've known that since Bambi's mom got slaughtered and whatnot.

Thinking about it though, there is some DARK Disney which kind of makes sense and some of the early cartoons were SUPER terrifying. But I still think you should post pics. LOL.

As long as you aren't shooting bunnies ON MY PROPERTY go ahead. Unless you are my kid who is a crack shot, and once asked if he and his BB gun could go shoot a rifle. "Out of my hair for several hours" I thought. "Great idea unless he gets rattler bit," "Go, go take your phone though I said."

Less than 20 minutes he shows up with a dead rabbit and he is carrying it by the ears, while I was hastily learning how to disembowel it and what goes with "dead desert rabbit" that was a yes that I have regretted for a LONG time, man, but the kid has aim or he did anyway except for the toilet but man his aim improved swiftly when I was like, "Son, here is some comet and stuff, I'll clean the rest of it but not the toilet. That works even better than the cheerios trick which doesn't work at all. LOL.

I appreciate the sediment but it wouldn't be prudent. You see, in my time of dying, I'm trying to a kinder, gentler soul without totally compromising my principles. I know there are those in here who get a kick out of the pics of the dead bodies I post but I also know there are those who don't appreciate it. While I am proud of the car/deer accidents that were avoided because of me and my friends and all the people we fed, perhaps posting some pics of deer camp and other forest time without the bodies, blood, death and carnage is a good compromise.
Btw, I didn't "sit, wait and kill" over a bait pile. I hunted, stalked and snuck up on them. The best time was in the fog or a thunderstorm when everyone was back at camp playing cards. The wide eyed look on their faces when they realized I was there and jumped back just before I pulled the trigger was priceless. Yes, I am boasting...

Here's one coming in from a blizzard.

That ad jogged my memory about how really special a Pro vape sale was. Until the end, they almost never offered any sort of a discount, maybe once or twice a year at best. But come to think of it, today's high end vape companies don't either.
