I seriously think you are SOOL with doing an upgrade to that Radius.Yes, it was a dead end. But I'm still looking through my stuff. My home office has a bad case of the blivets.

Here is my report of the battery adapter. It works great so problem solved for me. Plus, I found sources for the button top batts so I am all set. The only issue with the adapter is that it leaves a tiny gap where extension is attached. It doesn't bother me but here is a pic so you all can decide.

I used a hammer and my small anvil and compressed the pin on the one I have, it still leaves a gap, it's the thickness of the plastic ring that is causing it...I was thinking about this today, and I think it would be possible to file the brass down or smush it down a bit more. Just a thought, would not really be to hard to do.

It doesn't matter if one has the upgrade tool for the V2.5's, P3, Classic, or if you have the software to interface the device to be upgraded(Radius)...ProVape pulled the plug on the server that contained the actual firmware upgrades last January, those upgrades are gone for good, they don't exist anymore to access them and load them onto your devices...Does anyone know how to contact Bill, the person doing repairs? Also, some vape shops had the equipment to do the upgrades. I don't remember the names of them, one was in Olympia WA.
That tiny gap doesn't bother me so I am just going to leave it alone. Thanks for the info, though.

Unless of course ProVari Bill has them on a hard drive in his possession.
I concluded when they decided to get out of the business they decided to get completely out of the business. Liquidate and run for the hills and leave as little exposure as possible. They designed their products to be super safe so their exposure was minimal. And they want to put a limit on how long their software and repairs are available for the same reason.Well that is strange. So when Provape sold the upgradeable program, you weren't going to be able to use it for long? They did not state that on the site.
The user upgrades only came about when they released the Radius, which was late in the game as far as the timeline went. The other Upgrade devices were dealer only things, they were hoping to sell the company but that all fell through the cracks. At the end, they were selling everything they could lay their hands on at rock bottom pricing as they liquidated their entire inventory. There was no plan, it was just a business doing a fire sale as they prepared to shutter up the entire thing.Well that is strange. At least they hosted the upgrade server through last Jan. To allow folks to get any devices still in the pipeline up to dateI concluded when they decided to get out of the business they decided to get completely out of the business. I agree. While they wanted out they didnt compromise their integrity. They supported their product for another year. That was fair.At least they hosted the upgrade server through last Jan. To allow folks to get any devices still in the pipeline up to datethat is rather honerable behavior in my mind for a company walking away from the market...everything they did was a class act.
And now it is up to us, to keep using these devices on a daily basis, and see just how long they continue to work, and keep us off the smokesI agree. While they wanted out they didnt compromise their integrity. They supported their product for another year. That was fair.
The lack of battery availability is the biggest impediment at this point. And now it is up to us, to keep using these devices on a daily basis, and see just how long they continue to work, and keep us off the smokesfor me, that may just be the rest of my life, or at least, many years along that path...
That's a steal! Especially to keep your $200 device running smoothly. I change mine every 6 months. I don't have ANY problems....You probably already know this but that price is for 5 springs.

Ok, experts, I need help. I recently bought a P3 that is not a P3. Menu is like a 2.5 but it has the flat cap and extension tube like a P3. Could it be a classic? I don't own a classic so nothing to compare it with.
